Timber Creek hand guard
This Timber Creek Enforcer AR15 M-Lok hand guard is functional as well as great looking. The fit and finish are excellent, it is light weight and yet very strong and solid. It has multiple attach points to add to your gun.
Handguard breaks
I was not expecting this handguard is so soft. I accidentally over torque the screw underneath against the nut then I heard something break. Base of the handguard broke. So disappointed!

My Second Timber Creek Handguard
My first was a 15 inch that went on a spare-parts build and it gets many compliments. Went with the 13.5 inch for last build on Aero receivers. Eye catching build, light, and again gives the build a unique look.

Rusted Barrel Nut... FDE 15"
The finish on the handguard itself was very nice, however returned to Optics Planet on a RGA due to the Barrel Nut having rust on the threads and barrel seat. Not sure if it was a used product, or had been sitting in a humid environment...
Side Note: Ordered the FDE and the color was pretty close to magpul, just slightly darker/more brown.

Set screws?
Nice handrail overall. Very lightweight also. But Mine didn’t include the set screws for the barrel nut. The installation instructions and videos on google all show these being installed. Perhaps i got someones return?

Enforcer 9" red--exactly fits my need
This is my 2nd Enforcer handguard and I find it to fit my needs exactly. It butts up against the upper just a little funky (not straight flat like most do), but it looks great, installs easy and is sturdy beyond my needs.
I ran into a small problem. When I received the shipment from OpticsPlanet, I found the barrel nut had not been included in the box. This is not OP's fault, just an oversight on the manufacturer. I called Timber Creek Outdoors and they sent me a fresh new barrel nut and a package of the screws for the handguard within a week. GREAT service. Optics Planet is my goto place for purchases due to prices, and they would have replaced the unit without issue, but I decided to go with the manufacturer on this and am totally satisfied.

Nice and strong, looks good, but missing...
This is not my first rodeo, er...handguard, so I know what it's supposed to do. The Timber Creek Enforcer does it quite well and looks good doing so. I purchased the 9" version so the gas block would stand out just beyond the end of the 'guard (16" barrel, mid length gas port) and it does exactly that! HOWEVER, imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find the handguard, but there was no barrel nut!!! I've contacted Timber Creek and they're sending one (hope to receive it soon) and all will be good. I could have contacted OpticsPlanet and they would have replaced the whole unit without a problem, I know, but this was the manufacturer's mistake and they are making good, so I'm happy. The missing barrel nut is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise, it's exactly what I needed.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Looks great
- Inexpensive
- Strong & well made.
Cons:
- missing barrel nut
Best Used for:
- AR 15 build

quality falls short
Have had issues with color match on timber creek parts. The handguards have poor machining evident by tool marks. Handguard has nicks and blemishes as well. Expected better quality for the high price.

Nice looking and feeling, but did not fit.
Loved the way this hand-guard looked and felt. Color was real nice on burnt bronze. Was very light. Only problem I had is it does not fit over the Adams arms micro piston gas block. Squeezes in where it goes up to the rail a little too much or too soon to fit it. Would be great for a DI system gun.
Pros:
- light weight
Cons:
- didn,t fit
Best Used for:
- Di system

AR Handguard
Everything fit perfectly, and it feels very solid. The machining, and finish also seems excellent, but I haven’t had time to abuse it. It showed up in a reasonable amount of time which is impressive nowadays. I think it’s the sexiest handguard for the money.
