A little loose with slimmer qd connectors - Timber Creek M-Lok Quick Disconnect Mounting Point

In general, these M-Lok Quick Disconnect mounting points can get the job done, but they are hardly a precision piece of equipment.

If you only have one (or multiple identically sized QD connectors), don't buy this unless you know your QD connector fits this brand socket. Why? These Timber Creek Outdoors sockets are on the large size, and among my various QD connectors, this fit the larger ones well, but was very loose with some of the smaller ones. I wouldn't rely on it to connect an excessively loose QD connector for two reasons: 1)undue wear and tear; 2) it is takes much less force to pull out a loose connector than a snug one.

If you have multiple QD connectors to try and mate this with, then it's an acceptable bargain purchase. If not, you might be better buying a matched set or a more expensive QD mount that's closer to the QD standard spec.

My black one had a slimmer profile than the one in the picture, and that disappointed me. I was hoping for a slightly heavier duty construction.
