This trigger is so much better than the factory one.
Breaks extremely nice and able to set it much lower than what I wanted.
Very easy to install once you remove the mounting pins.

Timney Trigger replacement for Ruger Gen 2
Purchased a new Ruger American Gen 2 in 30-06, great rifle but didn't like the trigger .. My gun smith informed me he had swicth out several triggers on Ruger Americans before and a friend recommended Timney Triggers .. So I did, the difference was fantastic to say the least .. Set at 2.5 pounds was a sweet addition to a great rifle .. This 2 to 4 pound adjustable drop in tirgger was a quick fix by my gun smith, swicth out a couple of parts of my original trigger to the Timney and done..
The crisp Timney trigger got my 1 in. groups at 100 yards I wanted to seal the deal.. All I do now is concentrate on my target and let it fly .. I'm a new fan of Timney Triggers and recommend them as well ...

Timney trigger
Over the years I have bought many parts for my firearms and some have been ok and others have been not so good The 642 C trigger was a true drop in replacement for the original trigger in my rifle. I am very impressed on how smooth and crisp this trigger is. I’ve knowing people who have payed to have their triggers tuned and I would say this trigger is as good or even better then those triggers. Very good value and easy to install if you have some basic tools

Trigger swap on American gen ii ranch 300 BO
Ruger makes very good rifles but......their triggers are suspect. That's where the Timney trigger is the finest replacement trigger for the swap. I got the adjustable trigger set at 3lb for my 300BO ranch rifle. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor Predator and a 308 Win standard in gen I and I am very satisfied with both triggers. I plan on purchasing two more adjustable Timney triggers for my 5.56 gen II ranch and gen II 6.5 Grendel Predator preset at 2.5lb.Timney has not let me down and instructions for installing the triggers for easy to follow or you can use YT to get help.
