Excellent upgrade to the Scorpion, incredibly fast follow up shots. Pricey but worth it

I fallowed the instructions and just could not get the safety to operate properly. I had to loosen the screw that holds the safety pivot pin. Located on the top of the trigger pack.

Timney makes fantastic triggers . The installation video is very helpful . All the reviews you read are spot on . Zero creep , super short reset . The only thing I can add which hasn’t been said is I have ARs with Geissele single stage triggers . If you like those , you will like this trigger . A little pricey but when you see the quality of the construction you understand .

The trigger came with a step by step installation sheet that made it very quick and easy to install. The function of the trigger was what you expect from Timney. Perfect.

Trigger was simple to install and I changed both sides of the safety mechanism at the same time (I’m a lefty). This changed my Scorpion from a clunky trigger/ clunky safety hard to manipulate sub gun to a smooth as butter, fast operating, no jamb bullet spitter with increased accuracy. The accuracy increased because I can now flick the safety off with little effort, and the trigger squeeze is very smooth and very quick. Even shooting cheap FMJ 9mm the accuracy is great; a “flyer” means the bullet impacted an inch from the point of aim. The only downside is that it is so much fun and so easy to shoot that I burn through about twice as much ammo as I intended to shoot and i shoot all my targets to pieces so I have increased range work when using my home range. I find myself doing a lot more multi taps, which empties mags and is quickly addictive. I originally bought this trigger and safety because the range instructor was giving me bad-guy-charging-targets on an automated range and I couldn’t operate the weapon and trigger fast enough. I do church security, am a senior citizen, and don’t have the reflexes to cover for mistakes. This was a major step forward in cutting the on-target time. Not a cheap solution because it is a premium trigger, but for me, WELL WORTH THE EXTRA COST. Thank you Timney and Optics Planet. This isn’t your last Timney trigger sale to me.

This trigger changes the gun completely its super fast and has a clean crisp break. Shot 500 rounds the 1st day no malfunctions only smiles. Highly recommend

This trigger totally changed the gun for me. Came in at a little over 3# pull and easy to install. Some may find it too low. It can be adjusted to 5# pull. I prefer a lighter pull. The only issue with installing was, I had to loosen the detent slightly to work the safety. Well worth the money. Here a lot of people talk about shipping. I had mine in 3 days.
