Excellent Trigger to Replace Reminton 700 X-Mark Pro Trigger
I bought a Remington 700 VTR in .223 caliber. It shot pretty good my first trip to the range. But I knew it would shoot better, and thought it was being held back by the X-Mark Pro trigger. I ordered the Timney #510 trigger and installed it in the 700 VTR. Installation was pretty easy. I went on line and watched a video of how it is done. It took me about 5 minutes. Take the barreled action out of the stock, tap out the front pin from left to right, then tap the rear pin from right to left but leave it in the receiver so it captures the bolt release lever and spring. I have purchased a number of Timney triggers and they work very well. The Timney triggers purchased have been installed in Remington 700's and AR-15'S. The triggers purchased can be easily adjusted with no problems.

Great trgger!!!!!
Got this trigger to put in my Remington.22-250. Was very easy to install and has helped me tighten groups on an already great shooting gun. Now to put it to the test on a few coyotes!!!! I have another Remington 700 in 7mm and I am going to purchase another one of these triggers before hunting season next year. This is the third Timney trigger that I have purchased and I couldn’t be happier. Excellent product and fast shipping from Optics Planet!!!!

Inexpensive upgrade
Simple upgrade to the stock Remington 700 trigger. Simple to adjust and the install was pretty easy and required no gunsmithing. The price on Optics Planet was cheaper than many of the others as it was on sale. Shipped right away and tracking was provided.

renewed old rifle
Timmney always has made a good product for the shooting industry. have been a user for a lot of years. The old neighbor was a gunsmith and fine one at that and that was his preference for triggers. have never had a issue with one and had an old Remington with a trigger that was bad. Instillation was a breeze and makes an old rifle reliable again.

Timney for rem 700
Super easy install and with just a turn of a screw driver it was down to a nice crisp 2.5lbs. Will install one on every 700 I have. It makes off hand shooting so much easier. I am so much more confident in my rifle now that I have installed this trigger!!!!!!

Timney Trigger
Big improvement over factory trigger. For years I have heard how nice Timney triggers were and I kept putting off buying one. I wish I had purchased this sooner. Easy installation and shipping was fairly quick.

remington 700
Bought this item and had a poor fit. I also had a lot of light primer strikes. Called the Timney and they sent out a longer sear. When I picked up the sear from the post office I had to pay almost 4$ for shipping because Timney didn’t pay enough postage. I haven’t tested the new sear but I’m not impressed especially for the price. I expected better quality.

Timney Triggers Remington 700 Trigger w/ Safety
Excellent! I replaced my rem700 trigger with the Timney what a difference. Adjustable poundage and crisp break. A necessity for tighter groups.Drop in install only needed a punch. If your spending the money for a nice rig you have to get a Timney. It will complete your rifle.

Easy to install
This is a great upgrade to my Remington 700. Very easy to install and it has helped improved my groups at the range. I can now let the shot surprise me instead of a bit of a tug before the perceived recoil.

If you own a Remington 700, you owe it to yourself to get this trigger. In my opinion it is by far the best available. Excellent quality, simple installation, easily adjusted, much better accuracy and superior safety. You'll be glad you did!
