Most Helpful Positive Review Great product
2 stage triggers are a must for precision shooting. This is a great trigger. 1st and second stages weights are adjustable. Very clean smooth 1st stage. 2nd stage has a nice wall and a clean break. Close to the kidd 2 stage triggers for 10/22. Highly recommend as this trigger will probably make your ...

Excellent trigger

Easy to install, a very nice trigger to shoot. The groupings after installation were by far better than with manufactures trigger. Highly recommend!

Excellent Trigger Upgrade

by PGC, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 1, 2025
I installed this trigger in my RPRimfire, took it to the range, and shot a couple of my best targets ever. Multiple shots through the same hole at 50 yards, 199-13X out of 200 at 100 yards. And that was my first time shooting it. An excellent upgrade.
Pros:
  • Low pull weight
Cons:
  • none so far

For the price, should come with all the parts.

by Shootnfly, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on July 3, 2024
I have used Timney triggers on most of my Ruger rifles. For the price, it’s unreasonable that parts have to be scavenged off of the original assembly. Another issue is that there are no stops on the adjustment. This trigger will fail to reset if the first stage adjustment is turned too far CCW. That being said, it is smooth, with a crisp break.
Pros:
  • Smooth
  • Crisp
Cons:
  • Need to scavenge parts
  • May not reset if adjusted to limits

get this trigger

My Ruber precision 22 with this trigger and a Lilja barrel shoots as good with the ten brands of ammor I've tested as the Bleiker rifle in this test https://www.accurateshooter.com/guns-of-week/22lr-rimfire-ammo-comparison-test/

This Ruger OEM trigger is very very good and the best advantage I found from this Timney is a much lower trigger pull, both are crisp and little overtravel.

Its alright

I ordered the straight trigger and at the time I was able to get it for considerably cheaper than this one. I ordered it in the middle of February with a delivery date of March 3. After many extensions on the delivery date which I see is ridiculously out there now, I was told by them to look at the curved trigger. I decided to order it even though it wasnt what I wanted. I would have thought they would have matched my original purchase price but they didnt and also made it so I couldnt put any discounts on it. I installed the trigger and it has a nice feel to it but my finger doesnt meet up with it, off the grip, like it would if it were straight. I settled. The 1/2 lb first stage comes to a distinct wall. That take up is about 1/8" or a little more. The break is at 1.5 lbs on my Wheeler trigger guage. The reset is almost immediate and you are instantly at the wall. I have this on my Ruger Precision Rimfire 22 so reset is not really that important. Its a nice trigger. The stock trigger was good at 2 lbs so I expected the Timney to improve already good target results. Targets are the same or if there is an improvement you need a microscope but that might be because of my finger placement. Would I buy again? No. Would I advise against buying it? No. If a curved trigger suits your needs I am sure it will feel the same as the flat as long as you dont have the type grip that I have. Angle grip might be better with this trigger.
Pros:
  • High quality
  • EASY INSTALL
  • Adjustable
  • Good Function
Cons:
  • high price
  • have to transfer parts
  • prefer straight trigger
  • have to take gun apart to adjust
Best Used for:
  • Precision shooting with angle grip

One of the best upgrades to improve any firearm.

by Juliet Romeo, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on December 17, 2023
Any improvement that adds to precision and accuracy is a plus. This trigger is one of those improvements that adds fun and pleasure as well as accuracy. It is worth every dollar. The light take-up to the light but crisp break will reveal its worth every time the trigger is pulled. It feels like quality & precision. It is installed very easily without complications or any additional help. The self-contained assembly is fool-proof and requires very little time or tools. Drop one in and enjoy the results!
Pros:
  • Quality
  • accuracy
  • Easy
  • feel
  • No Special Tools Required
Cons:
  • Expensive
