First, this is an amazing trigger. If you need the light pull, I can't think of a better option.

I have ordered and installed 20+ of these over 6 months and 2 out of the whole bunch have had the bottom disconnector hook break off. The part itself has a hook with a 90 degree inside corner that is the poster child for stress risers and I guess they must have had a small batch that didn't get proper heat treatment. They had the same pink paint color assembly marker so I assume they were from the same assembly batch (I have 4 or 5 different batches/colors).

Timney CS was on the ball and replaced the entire FCU no questions asked. The others are all running strong and I feel pretty confident this was a one-off issue.

The 0 creep, 1.5lb pull, and nearly no reset makes it worth the price.

Absolutely amazing trigger, amazed on the amount of adjustments on this trigger. The trigger pivots left and right. Comes with another trigger and extra shoes . Definitely worth the money. I can’t get over on the amount of adjustments on this trigger

I have had this trigger in my custom-built Mega Arms 308 AR-10 for a couple of years and hundreds of rounds. Up until my last outing I loved it. On my last hunting trip, I was checking my zero before going out as I always do and my rifle started to double on every shot. I had to go to my backup rifle for the day as there was not enough time to look into the issue. That evening I took the trigger out and looked it over. I could find nothing visibly wrong. It was spotless clean, lightly oiled and everything looked tight and properly aligned. I thoroughly cleaned, re-lubed, and re-installed it. I took it back to the range and shot about ten rounds through it without any further issues. I also killed several hogs with it during the rest of my hunt without any further problems. I don't know what caused this or if it will happen again. Hopefully, this will be the end of the problem but I have lost some confidence in the trigger. I'm going to continue to use it for now but if it does it again I'm done with it. I have also found several posts online with others having this same problem with the Calvin Elite in an AR platform. This is a great trigger when it works but there seems to be a problem with some doubling from time to time.

Awesome trigger, period, definitely a game changer. My groupings are tighter, i have another ar im currently looking to get another timney, i wont whoot until i get another one. These triggers are pricey, but why miss..

This is THE trigger to get if you want to set it up into the perfect position on your fingertip for firing on an AR.
The 1.5 lb. Trigger pull is definitely light, however, if you train correctly, while you're gently pulling the trigger rearward it breaks crisp and you'll know when it's going to every time. Training is the key on that. I use this trigger for my long distance Grendel AR and I'm sooooo pleased. I have quite a few AR rifles and the ones that are long distance tacdrivers use this trigger.
The setups are quite flexible and adjustable for different purposes too. I have a few "go to" setups but I still play with different things. Like I said...."AWESOME TRIGGER"

I have used a lot of triggers, this is BY FAR THE BEST! If you want the best look no further. The smoothest trigger on the market. No take up at all just a clean light break. I tested this trigger with banging and dropping the gun, no false fires weather on safe or not. Couldn’t be happier! You get what you pay for in this game as you know! Hope this helps

Awesome, so glad I picked one of these up. The description says it all. Complete game changer. Installation was a breeze. Dropped right into my existing frame. Love how you can adjust the height and angle of the trigger.

Good product but less than customer service. It appears to have been returned as I opened the package a pine needle fell out and product info wasn't in the envelope and was missing 1 of the 2 pin bushings. I took pics of everything and contacted them. First I spoke to a gal who transferred me to tec support so I could forward photos which I did. Never heard back from them......ever. I called again and spoke to another gal back and forth on hold then she tells me that she just confirmed that they only come with 1 and if I wanted the other I'd have to purchase it separately. WHAT?? For a drop in trigger?? I called Timney and they said they come ready to assemble with both pin bushings. Long story short I took it to the local gunsmith and he made me another bushing so I could get it up and running. Customer service was of 0 help.

As expected, given Timney's reputation, this is an excellent trigger with truely a light pull at 1.5 (mine came in at about 1.9). However I do have a couple things I wish were different. I will have to wait and see if the simple way in which the trigger shoe elements are held in place will stay in place (not too worried, it is a concern, even with loctite).

The other thing is I wish the shoes came in black, with the other colors being purchased separately, instead of the other way around. I'd like a black shoe, but I don't want to spend an extra $35 for that (at least not right now).
