After getting to try it in a more realistic setting I realized this was not as useful as I expected. It worked good inside my home watching my dog at close range but outdoors at any distance there was little or no image available. I did use the calibrate mode. It is just too small in my opinion to be useful beyond 25 - 35 feet. Rabbits at 25 feet did not stand out, deer at 70-100 feet were near impossible to mark unless you knew exactly where to study because you know they were there. As far as using it for a shooting optic, good luck. The sample images are from very close range. The demo video online provided a hint when they show procedure on adjusting zero what looked like 30 feet.

I will say the Optics Planet was great and fast on shipping and making the return and refund painless. This might be useful to some, but not to me.

Just got mine. Had a great price so I did it. Tried it quickly, mid day, warm weather. Easy to see my pets and others close by. Will use it tonight for further testing. Simple to use. Yes it is small but that will be an advantage once installed on a gun. I would not expect to use this to hit bulls eyes at the range but it is a great way to sweep an area to see if anything is out there of interest. The ad is confusing. Mine, the T12N does not have the extended lens tube. The lens is part of the housing. It came with the picatinny mount attached and a small hand held adapter that is great for use of the gun. Not sure if mine was a return or not? Nothing in plastic bagging, no lens protectors, mount installed?? Even the battery had no wrapper on it.

If this continues to work a while without issues then at $339 this was a great deal and something I wanted for a while. Seems like a nice investment although I am sure other advanced models are out there, this does what I need for a fair price.

I use this mounted offset on an AR15 carbine. It is a great set up for night security around my property. The T12 works very well and I am pleased with it's performance. It also works well mounted on the top rail of my Mossberg Shockwave. It handles the recoil fine and is easy to use.

First off! I purchased the 30 T12M ! Works fantastic. Detects further than the company proposes but yes the image is small at longer ranges. Why ? Because it was made for closer ranges! Duh! These are all great but each model is made purpose and distance specific. The reviewers do not mention what they bought or why and there is no proof these are from customers or competitors. Maybe they were just not as smart as what they were working with! I bought the model best suited for home defense/crossbow hunting and I couldn't be happier. Next year I might buy a model for long range and if I do I will review it and the first thing I will do in the review is list the model because I don't have poo for brains.
