Most Helpful Positive Review Solved my light primer strikes on Subsonic 300 black out ammo.
I purchased this trigger to replace a another branded trigger that gave me light primer strike even after using the stronger spring. This product solved the issue and I plan to equip all my other lowers with this trigger.
Most Helpful Negative Review Light Strike
Purchased this trigger for my mcx virtus in hopes that it would be a great trigger. So far it is not, I’ve been experiencing light strikes with the trigger sometimes back to back. In the process of seeing if there is anything triggertech can do for me maybe I just received a dud. As of right now I d...

Triggertech for my SIG Sauer MCX

by augmeisters, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 3, 2025
Was a huge difference from the stock SIG trigger. I have two Virtus MCX rifles, .300 BO and .223. Both fitted with night vision. When I sighted them in, I couldn't believe how bad the original triggers were. After studying all the
available options I decided on Triggertech. When you want to dial them in with 1/2-minute accuracy you need this trigger.
Pros:
  • Everything
Cons:
  • nothing
Best Used for:
  • precise shooting

Great Upgrade for Sig MCX Virtus 300 Blackout Conversion Upper

by Mark in Texas, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 24, 2025
I added a Sig MCX Virtus 300 Blackout 9" Conversion Upper to an AR15 lower and SBR'd it. The Conversion kit came with a Sig AR Two-Stage trigger kit, however, I found this trigger to be a bit heavy (about 5 lbs.) for my intended use of feral hog huning from a stand.

I replaced the conversion kit's trigger with a Triggertech Sig MCX Adaptable, Flat, 2.5-5 lb. Adjustable Trigger and couldn't be more pleased with the results.

The provided instructions were very clear and the installation was a breeze. After installation, I adjusted the pull weight to 2.5 lbs. The trigger now feels fantastic. I haven't had a chance to fire live rounds yet with the new trigger, but from experience I'm certain my groups are going to be much improved with this trigger.

I highly recommend this updgrade to anyone wishing to replace their factory MCX Virtus trigger.
Pros:
  • easy installation
  • Crisp & clean break when firing
Cons:
  • None

Well designed high quality trigger fir Sig MCX.

by WG, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on March 27, 2024
The TriggerTech MCX trigger is a super smooth crisp trigger upgrade for the Sig. The adjustable pull provided me the opportunity to get the perfect pull weight I was seeking. Compared with the standard Sig or the Geissele it has minimal creep and super quick reset. The standard Sig and Geissele feel remarkably similar, kudos to Sig for providing a very nice standard trigger for the MCX. The TriggerTech feels different, it allows me to get a quicker response and hold the rifle with less movement. For me this is the difference I was looking for. I compared the Flat and Curved. The standard Sig model is a cross between the two. The Flat ultimately is the route I went and it’s feels perfect. When shooting it is completely transparent, the most natural like an extension of the trigger finger. A very well designed high quality product.
