The ONLY MRO model worth considering

This absolutely beats the MRO and MRO HD.

A red dot analog of the ACOG series; robust and effective. This is a competitor to the Comp4/Comp4S. The MRO Patrol has endured 6K on my SIG 716i. An underrated and overdue model in the MRO family. Quite honestly, the only model worth looking at.

Decent optic, some flaring, built like a tank

Overall a very sturdy and well built optic.
+Pluses: Extremely sturdy (feels indestructible), really nice dials, large field of view, pinpoint dot at 3&4 brightness settings, great battery life, compares well to the Aimpoint T2Micro for less $

-Minuses: dot flaring at 5&6 brightness settings, kill flash screen is annoying but I got it for the lens caps, larger than the the T2 Micro by a bit.

I don't notice any fisheye effect at the edges like some complained about, can't see it even when looking for it. The blue tint is nominal, my sunglasses have more tint than that anyway so people should get over it.

MRO PATROL

Can’t beat Trijicon. Best stuff made. This is an amazing optic. Own other red dots that don’t compare to this one. Great product. Best price on the web. Fast and free shipping. Mounted this on DDM4V7 and took maybe 8 shots to zero.

Bombproof optic

Well almost bombproof. I bought the Patrol because I wanted caps and the kill flash. As most know kill flash works for you in both directions so it is an excellent addition. Plus the fact it is removable. I have an aim point but the mro has a larger objective lens. Very clear optics. I'm color blind so when people start talking about different lens hues I can't relate. It looks great to me. The kill flash, I always called it tenebrex, I don't know if that is a proprietary kill flash or not, but it does its job. It does darken your view through the optic slightly. But you should know that going in. The mount seems to be quite rugged. I'm not sure if I'm going to stay finger tight so I can take it off easily, or go 25 in/lbs for repeatability. All in all I'm very happy with Trijicon.

Great Red Dot and Solid

Great red dot sight. It’s built like a tank and the dot is clear. The objective and eye covers are a great addition along with the light diffuser.

One negative is the mount. It can only be hand tightened and has no locking feature. I had to kick wire it to the weapon so it wouldn’t loosen. They have since redesigned it and should be a lot better. I do not recommend the old base style. Stay away from it.

Other than that it’s great.

Light, simple, rugged, waterproof

The dot is crisp, and the ergonomics of both the mount and the brightness control are excellent. The lens is wider than the competition's. The battery life is outstanding, and CR2032 batteries are available in any drug store.

Exceed expectations

I bought this to put on a new Daniel Defense SBR I just got. I took it to the range this past weekend and ran 140 rounds of 300 Blackout subsonic through the gun. I put my first series of targets at 25 yards. With the MRO Patrol it was shooting low about 6 inches. I adjusted it and within a few shots it was deac on. No matter what we shot that day the MRO never wavered and held its zero. Love this red dot! I coupled it with a Vortex 3x magnifier and this is a force to be reckoned with.

Perfect for Patrol

It's every bit as good as I hoped. The covers are great and really protect the optic. Love the killflash and the overall setup of the MRO Patrol. The glass and dot on this is just as good or better than my T2. Th weight and footprint are much more manageable than the AP Pro. Trijicon really hit a home run with this!!!!!

Perfection Right Out Of The Box!!

I needed a sight for an AR pistol, and chose this with a full co-witness/quick release mount. This product was nearly perfectly sighted right out of the box. The quick release mount was the best I have ever used. Pure simplicity in form and function. I will definitely add another in the future.

Excellent optic

I have this installed on my GHM9 Compact, and absolutely love it. It is a bit larger than some red dot sights, but it offers great field of view, the turret is easy and intuitive to use, the dot is crisp and bright, and the fit and finish is top notch. Very happy with this purchase.
