Crooked reticle
I purchased this TA33 with the crosshair reticle from OP. It came mounted in the factory base. The crosshair appears slanted by about 15 degrees. The bottom of the vertical crosswire points off to the side of the housing center. It looks like it's leaning 15 degrees left and it's pretty darned ann...

You get what you pay for
Best glass I've ever looked through, eye relief is amazing and the field of view is small yet the BAC allows for both eyes to be open. The cross hair appeared to be canted about 15 degrees off at first, this is caused by one side of the reticle being closer to your eye, when you look at an object the crosshair is perfectly level.

perfect blend acog
I was hesitant to pick up this acog because of how much cheaper it was than all the rest. Boy was I wrong. This thing is amazing. I think you're safe with any acog, but there are a few features on this acog that I appreciate. First is the size. This thing is small and light. But not so small that it looks like a toy or will break. Its solid as a rock but doesnt weigh down my lightweight ar platform. The 3x magnification at first was a concern, but really helps with identifying your target at ranges less than 50ft because its not so zoomed in that you lose your reference point. Glass is crystal clear, I still swear that it improves my vision, its crazy. reticle is extremely bright, but when its against a light background, the black lines behind the reticle magically show up and you still have a poi. I love the BAC and ive been able to use it in cqb like a red dot with both eyes open without any problem at all which is an enormous must for me. Its a red dot with built in magnification, better clarity, better ruggedness, brighter reticle, and no batteries. Whats not to like. I got this one for only $200 more than your run of the mill eotech too!. Youd spend that in batteries alone with the eotech. I love everything about it.

Amazing Optic!
Great glass and Great eye relief. My favorite part of this optic is shooting targets @ 200 yards+ with both eyes and that it can also be used in CQB using the Bindon Aiming Concept. If you're not familiar with the BAC, check out this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpGSKKgWWks
