Great ACOG to use

by Ryan Tarczynski, Gear Expert from IL, United States Written on November 23, 2020
While I was in the service I used this Trijicon while in the active duty. These were great to use to help improving shooting, since you can see clear as day when your shooting a far range target. Even while shooting paper targets can easily tell if you hit or missed or how to adjust your sight right there, also they are very durable and easy maintenance.
Most Helpful Positive Review Great Scope But Decided to Return It
This is a great scope. Target acquisition is fast, the left/right bullet drop horizonatal has marks are easy to understand, and 4X is fine for what is essentially a short to medium range cartrige. But, sadly, I decided to return it. The reason is that Trijicon created the bullet drops based on a standard length 16" barrel chambered for 300 AAC Blackout. My 300 AAC is a Liberty Suppressor's 'Leonidis', an excellent and very quiet AR upper (far better than Daniel Defence's verison), but their design is based on an 8" barrel permanently affixed to their Leonidis suppressor. When I zeroed the gun ...

I really liked it, however, my eyes are not good enough to see the reticle. I had to return it for that reason.

Great scope

by Ace 99, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on October 24, 2023
Glass is insanely clear. Great fixed zoom. If you need something adjustable, this isn't for you. However, this would work well on an SBR or a short-range rifle.

Acogs are the Best optics!

by The Whole Enchilada, from OR, United States Written on October 7, 2021
If you have an AR style rifle, I highly recommend looking into buying an Acog. Great field of view. NO BATTERIES NEEDED!! Great customer service. The one I purchased has the 300 blackout reticle. It’s the second one I’ve purchased for 300 blackout and I also have one on my 556 14.5. Light weight. Extremely durable. Very clear optics. I will buy more in the future.

Very Clear Glass

by Epstein didnt kill himself, from IN, United States Written on April 14, 2020
I am very impressed with the clarity of the glass allows the 4× magnification to seem like more than I am used to in other cheaper 4× optics. The reticle is bright and easy to see, but small enough not to cover your whole target. Very defined clicks for windage and elevation, easy to sight in. Works perfectly on my 300 Blackout. Thus far I have only shot Subsonic, so I cant speak to compatibility of sub vs full velocity with same reticle but I have no reason to doubt it either.

by Gundy, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 10, 2020
Great Scope recommend it for any level shooter. Easy to sight in it took me one shot after using a red laser sight in. I only had to adjust one click. The ballistics are spot on in the window as well. Very impressed.

An excellent optic. The clarity is just about perfect. Like looking through a clear pane of glass. The scope is easy to mount and simple to work with and adjust. I have come to trust the Trijicon brand and have several Trijicon products.
Pros:
  • Excellent Glass
Cons:
  • Could not get horseshoe reticle on this model (for 300 elk)
Best Used for:
  • Ranges from 100 yards to CQB ranges
