Most Helpful Positive Review Fantastic Quality and Fast Target Acquisition
Added this to my Bushmaster Custom recentyl purchased.. and zeroed it at 25 to get close.. then took it out to 100 and had no trouble getting it on zero.. great eye relief compared to the 4X scope.. love th ecrosshair for fine targeting.. but enough bulk to catch the quick target acquisition easily....

Most Helpful Negative Review Uncontrollable brightness obscures the target
Purchaser's should be aware that there is NO way to control brightness of the chevron. Brightness is automatically controlled by the ambient lighting conditions. Therefore, if in normal to bright ambient lighting, the chevron brightness is so bright that at 100 yards at least 10 inches of the target...

great acog option

by Stew, Verified Owner from NM, United States Written on August 30, 2025
Better eye relief, eye box, and field of view than the 4x32. Also i prefer the crosshair reticle over the chevron, but that’s subjective and trijicon has a variety of reticles for all the acogs. If you are looking for a fixed magnification bombproof optic, this is worth considering

Excellent scope

Absolutely love it. Have tried multiple ACOGs, and the 3.5 is the way to go. Amazing eye relief, and not much weight compared to the 4X... But the eye relief difference is massive. Very happy with it.

Exactly what I wanted!

by Don, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on April 5, 2024
After a lot of shopping and research and beating around the bushes I decided to go with this Trujicon model. Definitely the right decision and I have no regrets. Solidly built, well-made and extremely user friendly. Additionally, I was very pleased with the price point at Optics Planet. It was significantly better than what I was seeing at the gun stores. Customer service has been excellent and I’ll be buying from them again. 10/10 recommend this product!

  • Quality
  • Ease Of Use
  • well built
Cons:
  • None so far

Clarity Beyond Belief

by MT...Shooter45, from MT, United States Written on February 11, 2019
The TA-11 with Green Crosshair was purchased as a scope for predator control on a ranch rifle. The site in and mounting was straight forward and simply ACOG. However the optical clarity is amazing. When working at night (moon lit on snow) it allows for precise shots without artificial lighting, thus preventing spooked coyotes.
Pros:
  • Clarity, Mount, Reticle
Cons:
  • Cost....LOL

Has more eye relief. Built like a tank. Ready to mount red dot on top if desired. Glass is high quality. Take the screw mount off and replace with LaRue QD. This is all I need or want to say but this will not allow me out of this txt editor.
Pros:
  • Increased eye relief
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • hunting

Pricey, but oh so clear

by EEH, from IN, United States Written on February 13, 2017
ACOGs have a reputation for being pricey, and they are. But the clarity on this glass is amazing. (Mine is on a Colt M4 LE6920 Magpul FDE) The best part of the 3.5*35 is the added eye relief for quick target acquisition. The 3.5 is beefier than the 4.0 but you also get a better down range width. Green reticle has less wash-out than others I have looked at. Only issue I have is the size does prevent me from using a flip-up rear site should I need to, as I would have to remove the ACOG complete for positioning. Delivery was fast and the product arrived well protected in it's case and box. I am glad with my purchase and will use this site again.

Well worth the money. This is a must have item for anyone who needs to rely on accurate shooting in all conditions. The best part is that it does not rely on batteries or anything but mother nature for illumination. The quality of this product is top notch.
Pros:
  • Everything about this product
Cons:
  • Price but worth it
Best Used for:
  • Law Enforcement

It does what it says

by evlo, from VA, United States Written on October 2, 2016
The product arrived in 5 days with mint condition. Took it out to the range one week later, did the standard zeroing and it works like a charm. I got a better group and precision than using iron sight. The view to target is clear under normal room light condition at a indoor range. The next test is to see how many years will the tritium last. This sight is not cheap but it can do the job.

Trijicon ACOG

by genin32, from NC, United States Written on July 29, 2016
I was introduced to the ACOG series during my first deployment to Afghanistan and I have relied on them as a primary optic ever since. Extremely sturdy and reliable with a side benefit of never having to worry about a battery going out at the wrong moment, (Murphy's law: a system will fail at the moment you need it the most.) I use this particular ACOG with BUIS and a 45 degree offset red dot for work under 25m. You will not regret this optic.
