Acog 4x32 acss green
This is a superior product with super clear glass. You absolutely get what you pay for. I went ahead and bought a qd mount for this optic. When mounted on my ar it was almost dead on, only minor adjustments to dial it in. So far I have bagged two coyotes with this set up. Love this optic.

good concept woth poor execution.
Went with acog acss bc of the weight and reputation but the reticle wasn’t clean for me. The lines and dots were thin and tiny, I mean tiny tiny. Unless the background was perfect contrast, you were stationary and the target was stationary as well good luck using the bdc or lead dots. Also the right...

Too bad you cant get it anymore
This is an outstanding optic. Most know the solid capability of the TA31 but the addition of the Primary Arms Aurora reticle makes this the best military capable scope “that used to be” on the market. The discontinuation was not due to anything wrong with the scope, but was rather some disagreement between Trijicon and Primary Arms. Unlike some others, I feel the markings are not too small. They are rather inconspicuous, but readable. The design of this reticle is fantastic. It has markings for moving targets, wind holds, reference targets, and the Chevron is clearly visible I like green. Would highly recommend this reticle if you can find one on the aftermarket.

Not an upgrade to my TA31
After waiting so long for this ACSS Aurora I was disappointed upon receiving it to discover that the highly-touted elements of the reticle were much smaller than those of my standard TA31. The chevron is smaller and dimmer, the BDC lines are so small that the numbers are difficult to read, and the windage dots are too small for real action shooting. I had intended to upgrade my TA31 with this ACSS Aurora, but it will not serve my use for a defensive weapon. With the standard TA31, the chevro is not only larger and brighter, but the illumination also extends down to the 4 cross line, so that both the 4 and the BDC line are illuminated. That is a big tactical advantage both for outdoors in daylight. I'm sure the windage dots would be useful with a bipod but otherwise not worth the sacrifice to rapid acquisition of the chevron and BDC lines in action shooting.
Pros:
- windage dots
Cons:
- smaller BDC lines and chevron
Best Used for:
- supported prone or bench

The ACSS AURORA Reticle is an extremely effective reticle!
I have had this reticle on my AR-15 for almost a year now and it is so easy to use and durable. I coupled it with the RMR red dot on top and it is a BULLETPROOF setup. I can hit an 18 inch steel man target up to 500 Meters with NO PROBLEM and with ease. NOT for the person looking for precision groups but a TRUE BATTLE sight...Hits man size steel targets at a distancewith little practice. I'm not a professional marksman but this reticle makes hitting targets at varying distances very easy...the only con is that the reticle marks are a little small so you need to really focus when measuring your target distances. Other than that it is a proven piece of equipment and this reticle makes it even better.

Very good scope.
I have no complaints with this scope. It was easy to zero in and the mount holds firm on my rifle. The aroura reticle makes it easy to range targets and it is really accurate. I haven't taken it out past 300 meters yet,but I'm pretty sure it will do the job at longer ranges.

Outstanding!
Fantastic glass, overbuilt and smart. I have purchased plenty of competitive option for years and only chose those options because the ACOG was the more expensive option, and in many cases was twice the price of other red dot sights. I've since learned that the product justifies the price, and my only regret is not purchasing an ACOG earlier.

Wow this is the most capable combat optic out right now! The US military needs to wake up on this on
Wow all I can say is wow. Mounted it on a 16” BCM and using 62 gr M855 we hit 600m to where it got borring.. at 700,800m it was all about the wind calls and those wind dots really came in handy! The BDC using 62gr M855 was right on the money. If you got the money grab it! Only negative I give it is the fiber optic bloom but some tape fixes that.
Pros:
- The BDC is right on
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- LE and Military
