Love this optic. No batteries plus when I added a RMR is completed the set. Already had a friend buy one, and I will purchase a second as soon as I am done typing. These things will out last a IED attack. I speak from experience in 2003 and 2005. both my M4's we damaged but my ACOG was good to go for both those deployments. Changed units and redeployed in 2007-2009 with a different weapon and ACOG. No issues.
