Yes, the Trijicon ACOG 4x32 Scope w/ Illuminated Red Crosshair .223 Ballistic Reticle will sit high enough to see over an A2 front sight. However, I recommend using a flip down front sight.

Never thought I would spend this much on an optic. Once I saw my buddies and how clear it was I had to have one. The hogs better look out. I mounted it on my 6.8 SPC with a 12” barrel that I just built.

I have this mounted on my ar15 for target shooting. The clarity of the lens is very nice. What I like the most is that the reticle illuminates via fiber optics and doesn't use batteries. I do not regret buying this sight at all!
