Don't get me wrong, the trijicon acog is the single toughest optic produced today. I would not recommend it until you have seen through one for yourself. If your eyes are not perfect or you have a bit of an astigmatism, you may have trouble with this reticle. I have an astigmatism so, when I look through this scope with a relaxed eye I see a blurry/double reticle. Any scope without a fixed reticle will give you trouble if your eyes aren't perfect. On top of that the tritium glow amßabis VERY dim in the dark. All that being said, if you have 20/20 vision or better and want a tough as nails optic with low magnification, you won't find better than an acog. I
