Reviews & Ratings for Trijicon TA-98 ACOG Quick Release Mount
— 7 reviews — Page 1
Although it seems like the single portion of picatinny rail mount that gets actuated by the lever might not be strong.....believe me it is very strong! So far after throwing it on a and off several times to adjust both my iron sights and my Trijicon TA01B while sighting in my new SCAR 17, it came back to zero each of the 4-5 times, no issue there. One time the clamping surface got stuck after I had flipped the lever to remove it- but it was very easy to see the clamp bar and I got a flat edge in there to semi-pry it loose. It was doing this because of the brand new black on the new gun's rail,...

The Trijicon ACOG QD mount is actually made by BoBro, but that is a big plus in my opinion. I've been using BoBro mounts on my aimpoints for some time and when I went looking for a QD mount for my TA31F I was happy to find the ACOG mount was a BoBro-manufactured product.
As with their aimpoint mounts they use the same type of QD mechanism and it retuns to zero each time I have dismounted it (tested it several times at the range to test zero). It hold the rail very firmly with no slippage or movement, period. If you are looking to replace your TA51 mount with a QD mount that returns to zero every time, I'd highly recommend this mount.
Pros: Returns to zero, firm mounting
Cons: None (it's not free?)

Absolutely perfect, except too pricey. Still glad I bought it.
Pros: Simple to use and very solid. Compact.
Cons: A little over-priced, but bthe only game in town.

This mount attaches to a flat top very quickly and comes off easily. The zero at 100 yd is right on even after very rapid fire and rough use.
Pros: Very fast, very solid
Cons: none
