this mount is usrd to replace the handle mounting on your ar 15 rifle I believe trijicon makes the best mount to use on your trijicon scopes and makes the easy removal and remount without losing the line of sight

Although it seems like the single portion of picatinny rail mount that gets actuated by the lever might not be strong.....believe me it is very strong! So far after throwing it on a and off several times to adjust both my iron sights and my Trijicon ...

The Trijicon TA-98 ACOG Quick Release Mount utilizes a single lever system that can be configured for left/right lever placement. The Trijicon ACOG Ambidextrous Quick Release Mount features the patent pending BLAC lever system which required no manual adjustment to attain a proper, rock solid engagement on a 1913 Picatinny rail. The Trijicon TA-98 ACOG 3.5in Quick Release Mount is precision CNC machined from a block of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat type 3 mil-spec anodized black for a rock hard lasting finish.image
