Can’t go wrong
The credo is the new and improved accupower. Instead of red or green models you can switch from red and green. The reticle compared to the old model is less cluttered. As far as quality wise, there is a tiny distortion at the very edge but not noticeable. Red/green are daylight bright and lots of brightness settings. Eye relief is comfortable on both my ar and my bolt gun. I haven’t ever owned a scope more expensive than 400 and I’m so happy that I did.
Quality product, but........
Ill say first, this scope is top notch quality and construction. Optics are clear and beautiful. I selected it because it does provide a longer eye relief. I have no problem with Trijicon. But the first thing I noticed was the weight of this thing! Ive never really given the weight of a scope much thought, but this thing is substantially HEAVY! Weight on the specs is 25.6oz. Its adding over 1.5 LBS to the top of your rifle! I put in on an HK MR556 which is already a heavy rifle, so I doubt I'll keep it on it. Its way too heavy to use for a tactical application. Probably better suited for hunting. I wouldve returned it just because of the weight, but I got tired of shopping around and making returns.
Pros:
- Quality
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- hunting

Goldilocks scope , just right .
This is exactly what I was looking for FFP , 34mm , red or green illumination . Trijicon quality design and manufacturing . Fantastic reticle , not too busy . The ability to switch from red to green illumination is a novel idea . Better to have it and not need it . . .
Would recommend: Yes
best scope out there
The 1-10x credo is probably just as great. I just love the reticle on this 1-8x. This is my second one. I replaced an ACOG with it and have my other one on a different rifle. Best glass in the world
Pros:
- light
- clear sight
- eas of use, appearance
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- anything up close or far away

Trijicon 1-8X LPVO Review
Scope ships escargot as expected. Comes in actual Trijicon box with scope directions.
Scope is relatively heavy in comparison to others but is built like an absolute tank.
Glass is very clear and turrets are easy to read, easy to adjust. Resetting zero is done in seconds just by unscrewing the caps.
One of the best parts is that the HX version comes with both Red and Green illumination that have 8 levels of adjustability.
This is my personal LPVO of choice and I have 4 of them in use. Very tough to beat in terms of what you get for the money. Incredibly well built, clear glass with turrets that work with tactile clicks. True Trijicon quality with Trijicon warranty.

Trijicon Credo HX 1-8
I have purchased several of these Mow have them on 3 of my 16” rifles.
The glass is outstanding and the turrets and easy to,use. Resetting turrets to zero couldn’t be any easier or faster.
Overlooked part of this optic is that is has both red and green reticles that have 10:adjustable brightness settings.
Quality is pure Trijicon. It’s built like a tank. It’s not the lightest LPVO but does everything I could ask of a 1-8X and the glass can’t be beat for the price.

Best scope I've ever used
I use this for 3 gun and absolutely love it. It's fast up close and I use it regularly out to 500m. In FFP on 1× the circle gets smaller and becomes a large red dot. The glass is so clear I can hit 10 inch targets at 350m on 1x.
Pros:
- value
- Radical design
- Quality everything
Cons:
- Not cheap
- Not light
Best Used for:
- Probably anything
Would recommend: Yes
