Clear glass, great field of view, illumination is okay
The 2.5-10x56 Credo HX is the way to go if you are shooting 400 yards or less. The large objective lens allows for great light and field of view, while the lens quality is really good for the cost point. I like it better than my Vortex Viper HD 3-15x44 lenses and they are good! The scope is built like a brick house too. I have zero concerns with it getting messed up if it falls from a bench rest. Regarding the illumination… I am not a fan of it to begin with, but I knew what I was getting. I prefer the Leupold for edit or Vortex Viper dot design better, but that is my preference. Trijicon credo scopes illuminate portions of the reticle itself and it just gets to distracting. Especially if you have an astigmatism. At which point you have to adjust your diopter to make everything clear again. That said, it does work in low light situations, but is not really bright enough for full sunny days if you ever felt the need to use it on one.
Pros:
- Glass clarity and ruggedness
Cons:
- Illumination design
Best Used for:
- Any shooting under 400 yards for your average shooter
Would recommend: Yes

Great eye relief, quick focus on throw up to shoulder for fast field of view. Great clear optics with great illumination on cross hairs. Only rated 4 start because I still need to hit the shooting range to validate repeatability.
Pros:
- Decently priced scope
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Deer Hunting
