Trijicon low Weaver rail mount

by Spenc, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on February 15, 2025
The mount is well made and fits perfectly on my S&W .41 magnum. My only issue is the size of the tightening know. Very ugly. I removed it and installed a metric lock nut in it's place. Looks much better
Pros:
  • well made
Cons:
  • Tightening knob is to big

Trijicon weaver mount

by Deerhunter, from TN, United States Written on May 2, 2019
Bought a Trijicon RMR type 2 adjustable sight for a S&W 629 stealth hunter which has a built in weaver style rail on it so I had to order the Trijicon weaver base for it. Works perfect and it is solid as a rock. The only thing is the huge knob on the side that is used to tighten down the mount to the gun. Doesn’t look the very best but this gun isn’t for show and tell it was made to hunt with! Thanks optic planet for having it in stock and as always the best price

Weaver RMR mount

by James BLADE, from FL, United States Written on December 10, 2018
Excellent mount. Attached very well but I haven’t had the opportunity to see if it will bring the sight back to “0” once removed & reattached. Wish it had a throw lever but as I said it’s an excellent mount & I would recommend purchase.
Pros:
  • well made
Cons:
  • No attachment throw lever
Best Used for:
  • Pistol

Trijicon Red Dot Sight Low Weaver Mount

by Iceman, from MO, United States Written on May 5, 2017
Great optics with both ambient self or manually adjustable dot intensity. Easy to install. Easy to turn on and off. Can be operated with gloved hands. Fast acquisiton time for close in targets. Eye relief not sensitive. Haven't exercised it at intermediate ranges yet. Importantly, knowledgeable, professional and flawless customer service getting this delivered on time.

Giant Knob

by Stephen, from CA, United States Written on November 15, 2016
I purchased this to mount a Trijicon RMR on my S&W competition pistol with a Weaver style mount. Why S&W used a weaver style I don't know? It seems piticany mount would work just as well and there is a large selection to choose from.
This mount works well, but the knob on the side is absolutely hideous!

I was excited to mount this on my new pistol, but once it was on, I got that look that can only be described as the look of the news anchors this last week when they realized Donald Trump was going to win and be president, just that grunt and the open mouth hanging jaw.

NOW TO MY REVIEW: That thing will never fit in a holster and darn near makes the gun tilt to the left. It should be advertised as a counter weight or a threaded ball bearing that happens to hold an RMR. That steel knob weighs more than the mount and probably weighs more than the mount with the RMR. If Trijicon really made this, the engineer needs glasses :p
I am giving it 2 stars, but I am rounding up.
Pros:
  • works
  • Easy to grab with a Mexican speed wrench
Cons:
  • Heavy knob
  • Will not fit in a holster
  • Large obnoxious knob on the side of the mount
  • Ruins the looks of a very expensive pistol
  • Embarrassing to be seen with
Best Used for:
  • boat anchor
  • Slingshot

Does exactly what it claims to.

by Mike H, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on March 30, 2016
There's probably not a lot to say about this adapter, other than that it's well made and does exactly what it claims to. I move my RMR between guns—one of which has a weaver rail—and this well-made mount lets me do just that. I have absolutely no complaints about it and I'd recommend it to anyone that needs to mount their RMR on a weaver rail.

Trijicon low mount

by Rich, from WI, United States Written on August 18, 2015
The trijivon low weaver mount works great. I originally had a high mount for my AR but I decided to put my rmr on my.22 pistol. The weaver mount fits perfect and the rmr lined up exactly where it should be. The mount is solid and I highly recommend it.

What you'd expect from Trijicon

by Toby, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 8, 2015
Its expensive, probably because weaver would be a smaller run than most. The fit and finish are perfect, everything mated up without a hitch. Only complaint is that its costly but then again, if you're buying a Trijicon, sticker price probably doesn't mean a whole lot to you.
Pros:
  • Fit
  • Finish
Cons:
  • price
Best Used for:
  • any
