Think twice - update
Opticsplanet called me about my previous review of this product and asked if the issue had been resolved or if they could assist. They called unsolicited and said they were with opticsplanet but were calling at the request of Trijicon. They did not ask me to change my review, or offer me any special...

Think twice
I bought both the RCR and RMR HD when they were released. The RCR arrived in early December, zeroed easily and has performed well. The RMR HD arrived in early February. I mounted it to a Gen 5 Glock 19 and shot it today. I went through the entire elevation range and could not get it zeroed. I will c...

Trijicon RMR HD Review
I have purchased 5 of these optics in the last few months. The majority are mounted on 1911 handguns, and a couple are mounted on AR style rifles in an offset mount. This optic is a huge improvement over the original RMR. Literally, it’s better in every single way. Has a top loading battery…..the reticle itself is a circle/dot which allows you to gauge potential hold off at distance or moving target. Best part is the size of the optics window, no longer is it very small and hard to see like the original RMR models. This one has an objective that seems to be as big or even bigger than the Trijicon SRO. Brightness wetness are perfect. Just waiting for a shake awake feature to be addded. Highly recommend

I am a big fan of Trijicon with simplicity and accuracy. With this new RMR, it just brings my experience to another level. Super clear dot and I know I will have tons of fun with it.

New favorite optic: Trijicon RMR HD
Large window, CHECK
Choice of reticles: CHECK
Durability: CHECK (based on previous generations)
Battery life: CHECK
I am not going to get rid of my original RMRs or my SRO. But, any future purchases will be for this RMR HD. I have not noticed any complaints, but have not shot it that much (only about 300 rounds).

trijicon RMR reciew on Wilson Combat Project 1
I have put several Trijicon RMR HD optics with the 1.0 MOA circlr/dot reticle on Wilson Combat Project 1 (double stack, 9MM) pistol). The optics have been phenomenal. The sight picture is greatly improved when compared to the original RMR which was quite small. The RMR HD has an optic window that is as large, or even larger than the Trijicon SRO.
Lastly, the reticle is much more useful than just a dot as it allows you to hold off moving targets much easier. Clicks are tactile and work as expected from a high end Trijicon product. You get exactly what you pay for. Excellent optic.

Insanely Clear Optic
This optic is insanely clear and crisp. My first time trying a Trijicon optic and now I'm considering putting one of these on all of my firearms. The auto dim/brightening feature for the reticle is fast and responsive. No noticeable blooming or distortion when the reticle is turned up. Amazing optic, with a massive window and sharp reticle, if you can afford it, definitely get it.
Pros:
- Responsive and easy controls
- Large window size
- Clear crisp easy to zero
Cons:
- Price $$$
Best Used for:
- handgun
