Most Helpful Positive Review Trijicon SIG P229 HD night sight set- orange front SG1030
There is no additional filing required to fit the sights in the dovetails. The installation is a piece of cake. The orange front sight is as good as advertised. The original front sight came in fractured. OpticsPlanet quickly sent me returned postage for the faulty item. Within a week I got a replacement unit. Excellent customer service!! Pros: Tight mechanical dimensional tolerance; Easy to spot front light. Cons: A little pricey.

Not great outdoors

I am primarily shooing outdoors from a covered shooting stand to a sunny target range. In this condition these sight do not show any orange color from the front sights and since there is no paint on the back sights you are seeing black on black. I am returning them.

Trijicon HD

I purchased these for a Sig P365. The large orange dot on the front sight makes it easy to quickly get sight acquisition. Very happy with product and recommend. Optics Planet is great as well - easy to order and quick shipment. Also I like the easy return policy, used on a couple orders.

These are excellent sights. I chose the yellow front sight for ease of visibility and am not disappointed. With the right tool, the MGW Pro Sight they were easy to install.

Trijicon front sight

Fit my 220 elite perfect. Easy to install with a small hammer and a brass drift pin or punch....I allways install from left to right looking down barrel. Knock old sight out from right to left.......lightly file edge if it seems too tight to get started....not a big deal.....place gun on a cloth to protect it and lay on a solid surface . Not your wife’s expensive countertop. That could crack it pounding on slide with a hammer.....if you have reservations bring it to a gunsmith....I think they have a press to install sights...

Excellent sight picture

Fantastic product. Easily pick up the front sight and get on target. The bright orange ring is easy spot even to my middle aged eyes. The u shaped rear notch allows for an instinctive sight picture. Plus Trijicon is a local company.

Trijicon HD night sights for P220 and P229

Love it!!!!! The orange is so bright that you can’t miss it. The U shaped rear sight is a game changer for me. I can shoot with both eyes open better now then with my regular factory sight night sights. Everyone is different but I feel having the U shaped is just better for me. I can actually focus and see the front sight much clearer. I bought these when it was on sale so I had to jump on it. You can’t go wrong with Trijicon sights period!!!!

Great product

Excellent sights, head and shoulder better then my stock P226 sights, illuminate very well in dark environments, best home defense sights on the market. Slightly expensive but you get what you pay for.

An excellent sight

After many years and sight installs, I came across the Trijicon HD Night Sights. These sights provide me with the clearest and quickest sight picture in the over 40 years of pistol shooting. These sights are like all Trijicon products, very well made and excellent for there intended propose.
I have change the sights to these on all my Sig pistols.

I heartily recommend this product, and Opticsplanet. Product is shipped quickly and accurately, the first time, every time.
