This is my second one. Lost the first one so had to purchase another. Sort of expensive
but it works. The Trijicon RX40 is like a mirror and the killflash blacks it out. I use
the RX40 on my shotgun for turkey hunting.
Cons:
- a little dim on cloudy days

I've used the larger kill flash on ACOGs, but this is the first compact one I've tried. The view through the sight is disrupted slightly, but worth the trade off in my opinion. One interesting thing I don't think I read in the description is that this cover is threaded and screws into the front of the sight. Makes for simple installation, though I need to check to see if it loosened up over the course of a couple hundred rounds.

The Anti-reflection cone's on the RX-30 screw on len's are smaller than the killflash AGF-H SRD on Trijicon Acog 4x32 which are much larger with a clear field of vision,Rx-30 is hard to focus on dot due the cone's type like look threw for dot. my personal input, left e-mail with Trijicon, message return, will follow up with you Accordingly,4-7-15 will do follow up when they reply,Over price @$121.00, poor design.

My main reason for purchasing this Killflash for my RX30's is yet another secondary function: Improve reticle contrast and reduce reticle washout (reticle washout under certain lighting conditions being the bane of all Reflex-style optics).
Since a Killflash reduces incoming light through the objective without reducing the light available to the fiber optic collector, the dot seems brighter (more contrast) than it does when the Killflash isn't used.Real easy to attach to the unit went on no problem…
Unfortunately, this particular Killflash is very pricey but construction is very rugged and up to Trijicon's usual high quality standards. Whether or not it's worth the asking price depends entirely upon the user's needs. If this Killflash were more effective and/or less expensive I would give it more than 4 stars.
Pros:
- Easy to install. Looks good
- Come with a TRijicon Sticker:)
Best Used for:
- trijicon reflex rx30/rx34

Though pricey, this is a must for the RX30 line. It not only is a fantastic ARD but it also protects the RX30's glass.
Pros: Very well made, easy to use, rugged.
Cons: Pricey but you get what you pay for.
