I've used one of these ACOG's before buying one from Optics Planet. They're awesome. Going from the more common ACOG to the TA33 here does lose you some magnification, this sight makes up for it in its lighter weight and longer eye relief. Shame Trijicon discontinued it.

After tons of research on “the best scope to get for your AR”, I landed on this one. I was not disappointed. Since then, I’ve also purchased many more scopes that compete with this in some form or fashion. Therefore, I can write this review with some level of knowledge.

This scope has the best eye relief. If you haven’t tried using different scopes, you might not know how much this can provide a benefit. If you have a single rifle, set it up perfectly and train with it constantly, you can probably get away with what most other scopes offer in this area. However, if like me, you have multiple guns and switch it up a lot, you will really appreciate how quick and easy it is to get a good sight picture with this thing. The RMR red dot is also amazing and easy to use. I will admit that it is not necessary for those that want to go with the non-RMR version of this to start.

Glass quality, durability and warranty are all Trijicon great. You won’t have any worries with this scope, ever.
