Reviews & Ratings for Trinity Force AR15 Take Down Pin Set
— 5 reviews — Page 1
Another great surprise from Trinity Force. A nice enhanced set of take down pins that are longer and easier to pull. Similar pins sell for 5-10 dollars more w/o the rings(I removed mine to eliminate jingling and marking up my lower).Great for stiff or damaged fingers.
I bought two sets of these extended take down pins and used one set. They get hung up both all the way in or pulled all the way out. The detent moves in the groove of the pin, but once the detent goes into the little hole at the beginning or end of the groove it is impossible to push once it with yo...

Take down pins got stuck closed once the detent got into the hole of the pin. Nothing I do will get them out. Can't push behind with my fingers, can't pull on the RING!!!. I'll try using adrift pin and hammer like ARBuddy. If that does not work, I guess it's to the gunsmith I go. So much for a good deal. They don't work and may cost me an arm and a leg to get them removed.
Pros:
None
Cons:
May need gunsmith to get them removed
Best Used for:
nothing.

Some basic heads up info here for you everybody...
THESE DO NOT FIT IN A COLT M4 6920LE LOWER!
I'm not sure OP is aware of this either...
they are too long for the lower- and NOT compatible guys!
BUT; they are SO DARN COOL in design and theory with the easy to grasp "key ring" style handles that I am going to keep them anyways and use them as spare key rings!
Rock On Optics Planet!
<3 you guys!!!
Triple
Pros:
Excellent customer service
quick shipping time
ease of payment
Cons:
too long for Colt M4 lowers

I had some yankee hill extended pins on a lower that where so tight, I always had to tap out the rear pin. These fit nice a snug. The pull rings are s nice idea, but the rear one can interfere with weapon operation if your right handed.
