Troy 15" Alpha Rail
I had been wanting to upgrade my 16" AR from the standard furniture for some time. After experimenting with Magpul MOE front stocks (Surprisingly heavy), and the traditional Black stock it came with, I decided to try the Troy Alpha Rail.
In short, this thing is awesome, and I wish I had bought it a long time ago. It is incredibly light, and actually saved weight compared to my other two options. The fact that it is "Free floated" basically turns any bag/tree/piece of cover into a shooting rest, which helps quite a bit with accuracy.

Troy alpha rail
Very good product. Tight and secure mounting. I love the slim and very light design of this rail. Feels very strong and reliable in terms of holding zero. My only problem is that I did not include a pack of squid grips. The grips take this rail to the next level. Stylish and very ergonomic.

All or nothing
Troy is expensive,but just remember, pay once, cry once. Buy junk, pay thrice,cry thrice. I tested this next to The DOD COYOTE WEAPON RANGE Kirtland AFB. Even used it in usap's. It takes the desert sun, jungle heat, and ocean air. Just buy it.

Best rail option
This is great for any build, but specifically good for my gun. I have a polymer upper that has a special sized barrel nut inside diameter. Most hand guards have their own barrel nut while this one uses the existing nut. The fit is great, the weight is good, and the finish is nice. The included rails are convenient as well.

Extremely light. One of the best hand guards on the market in my opinion. Quality is on par with all of Troy's products. Proprietary mounting system is not nearly as nice as mlok or standard pic rails however it does come with a couple rail sections. Other than that, its good to go.

Nice ar rail
This rail is very nicen Goes on easily very secure I haven't dropped it yet but Im thinking it will be good and really slim I like how I can put my hand all the way around it if I want And you don't have to fuss will your barrel nut Thumbs up for a good job Troy

Alpha rail
Great rail perfect fit and finish this my second alpha rail and can't wait to put this on my rifle. Fits perfect over my Odin adjustable gas block. Optics planet is great super fast shipping that is free over 50 bucks can't beat it. Not my first purchase from them and won't be my last.

Great rail but annoying to install.
While installing troy alpha rail on my colt m4 I brought it all the way back and hold 5 degrees to lock it in it gets caught on barrel nut. I had to beat it the rest of the way on with a rubber mallet until lip was up against my upper secure. I highly recommend installing your pic rails prior to install if your going to use them. After the headache of installing it's been great. By far my favorite rail.

Awesome Handguard, Best Price Found!!!
Bought the black 15" handguards for a 16" barrel, perfect fit and easy install. Looks great with just the right amount of barrel and compensator showing. Quality seems to be top notch and design fits well in hand.

Simple and sturdy
This is my second Troy handguard. It was simple to install. I use it in my DMR, free float, sturdy, use existing barrel but. No special tools needed. Loc Tite recommended. I also installed Troy's rubber squid inserts giving the handguard a little cushioning and layer of protection against marring the finish.

Took all of 5 minutes to install.
I've never had very rough hands but I don't find the texture of the grip too aggressive at all.
Have only shot a couple hundred rounds through the gun so far but I'm liking the Alpa rail.
