This is my 2nd Troy Alpha forend. I have the 7in and the 15in. Very easy to install and looks great, very solid product! The rubber squid inserts are a nice addition as well. Would recommend to anyone that wants a nice upgrade or for a new build.

Cons: with all the holes it can be rough on your hands, wear glooves
Took all of 5 minutes to install.
I've never had very rough hands but I don't find the texture of the grip too aggressive at all.
Have only shot a couple hundred rounds through the gun so far but I'm liking the Alpa rail.
While installing troy alpha rail on my colt m4 I brought it all the way back and hold 5 degrees to lock it in it gets caught on barrel nut. I had to beat it the rest of the way on with a rubber mallet until lip was up against my upper secure. I high...
