Well made and fits my Troy fore end perfectly. Easy to flip sights on base. Was a little too tight on the receiver. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have the non-45 degree Troy flip ups on a few other builds and really like how solid they are. For this build, I was pairing these with a Sig LPVO hence the 45 offset. What I found out is that the only mounting location for the rear site that I was okay with is on the rear of the handguard. I wanted to mount it on the receiver but the only feasible location (behind the scope mount) but it directly between the charging handle and case deflector bump. It made the charging handle completely inaccessible on the right side and it's not possible to move the site forward as it would interfere with the deflector bump. Anything further forward and it blocked the ejection port - no bueno. Yes, I could run a charging handle with a larger left side purchase and always use it one sided but I don't want that limitation. I still like the sites and am keeping them for now but probably would have looked for another solution first, knowing what I know now. Good luck and keep building!

Put these on my scar 20s and they work great.not easy to install on this rifle due to the built-in strap hooks but well worth it

Rock solid back up sights to my LPVO! Super fast and durable! I am able to keep my 1-6 maxed out for long shots, then quickly roll my gun over and engage close up targets. Would highly recommend this product

This is probably the 4th set of Troy sights I have purchased, they are among the best iron back up sights you can buy. I’m a huge fan of Troy Industries. However, was very disappointed that these are much too large for standard M4 profile rifles. The biggest issue is that you have no room between the forward assist and anything besides probably a standard milspec charging handle (I have not tested but assuming they tested these in that configuration). My rifle is configured with a Geissele super charging handle, I have seen one other reviewer having issues with a Radian handle as well. While it technically “fits” there is no room to grab both sides of your charging handle making the upgrade irrelevant. These sights are big, a lot of metal even if you have a standard milspec handle, it would be a tight fit. My build used a Mark 12 Mod 0 handguard with integrated side rails at the front. The front sight on the Troy would not fit at 45 degrees with that section of side rail. So it was a bust for both.

The construction and quality of these sights are excellent, but buyer beware of how these will fit on your rifle after you pay $200 and cannot return.

These bad boys are solid!! But they’re fairly light too, they lock up, and you must press a bottom to unlock them and but then down, so once they’re up, they’re up. When folded, the back sight clears my mil-spec charging handle no problem on my FN 15. Mounting them was pretty tight, but I didn’t scratch my rail sliding them on.

I bought these to put on an hunting AR10 to be able to acquire a target at close distances quickly, or to use as backups if my scope gets damaged during a hunt. These Troy 45* drop away battle sights are high quality backup sights that fold down to store out of the way until needed. I was hesitant to buy these due to the price but after getting them, I’m very satisfied that I did.

Amazing back up sights. These are made to go through hades and make it back. The way they attach is bombproof. High quality and you get what you pay for! If you can afford them,I very highly recommend!
