Excellent polymer grip
What can I say, it's Troy. Threaded properly at both the install point and the battery compartment, rock solid build quality, lightweight, and looks great on my X95. Just the right length, too. If you're looking for a lightweight polymer VFG solution, this is it.
Troy CQB vertical grip
I have smaller hands so it's fits me nicely. Feels pretty sturdy overall, I got it to go with the Troy 7" tactical rail forend for my M4. It took about 10 minutes of filing the inner grooves with a small triangular file to get it to fit properly. Not a big deal. It even has a compartment in the grip for storage. I recommend this grip!
Pros:
- Sturdy and lightweight
Cons:
- Took some fitting
Best Used for:
- AR Platform

Good product for a polymer vertical grip
This grip is easy to install with no tools. It's tall and fits my hand well. It stays put in the position it is installed in.
It fits well in my hand, with a little room left over. On the down side, it does flex a little more than I like under enough force, especially if it is applied near the bottom. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend this model for a duty gun. (Troy also has an aluminum alloy version similar to this. It trades weight for added stiffness and durability more appropriate for a rough use/duty weapon.)
The storage compartment is easy to access.
I have a couple of these grips, and like them. I find them particularly useful on uppers that have side and bottom mounted accessories like lasers or lights with rear buttons. The round shape of the grip lends itself to rotating the hand slightly when tapping buttons, but still keep a good grip.
