Rugged - Quality Construction - Solid - Practical
Just as the title states, it is a rugged free float fore end/hand guard/rail that is constructed with great care and is built to last. The M-Lok sections give a lot of options for mounting, the top picatinny rail works great for a front iron, lasers, lights etc. It is the perfect size, not too thin and not too thick so you don't have to worry about death gripping it, not a quad rail so you don't have to worry about your hands getting chewed up either. The mounting mechanism is a standard barrel nut minus the delta ring assembly, it locks up very solid when properly installed. I have several of...

Troy rail.
Solid lock up on install to the factory barrel nut. Feels good in the hand without the cheese grader effect. Has a med size diameter. Lightweight, good finish, and lines up easily with the receiver. 5 stars to the Troy SOCC rail for a skinnier version.
Pros:
- Solid. Good fit and finish.
Cons:
- Has a slight tuning fork ring
Best Used for:
- You guessed it
Would recommend: Yes
Very Nice Rail
This rail is well machined, finished, and designed. It was very simple to install compared to others I've done and mounts snuggly. I'm not sure I like the white print all down the picatinny but I might change my mind. Overall I like the rail and would recommend.

Troy stuff is top notch
I used this on an AR-47(7.62x39) build, I wanted something compact so I didn`t go for the 15" rail. This handguard, like my other Troy`s, and battlesights, are rock solid. 7 rows of M-locks to put stuff on. Feels great and looks outstanding.
Pros:
- Solid Mounting
- Extremely Well Made
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Looks, Durability, Performance
It does what it's supposed to. It is lightweight, rugged and simple. I'm a fan of the flat black, no frills products. It mounts sturdily and performs as expected. I have it on a 10.5in barrel with a suppressor adapter muzzle device. I'm able to fit a YHM Phantom 7.62 inside of this.
Pros:
- Durability
- Appearance
- Slim profile
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Promoting Freedom
Would recommend: Yes
