Most Helpful Positive Review Great product
Overall this is a great product, very good coloring on the multicam pattern, comfortable, breathable and true to size. Forearms are a bit small to ell up to the elbow but I'm also 6'2" 215 llbs and bought the large. I will be buying another I'm multicam black.
Most Helpful Negative Review worst fabric ever
The camo portion of shirt is a very stiff, scratchy fabric, like tent or awning material. This will NEVER “wash out” as other reviewers have suggested “may” happen. Do not buy unless you are a scaled beast.... I returned mine and hope to get a full refund. I have bought many products from OP ove...

Night day difference with level iv plates

by ZULUTANGONOVEMBER, Verified Owner from MD, United States Written on April 17, 2024
So I own a couple worn out Frogs issued while in service as well as a crye woodland marpat of the same variety, while crye gets the color almost 100% the price tag makes it hard to justify buying again and again knowing it will be ripped or jacked up after at most 2 deployments. So I gave tru-spec a shot. One thing to note is the color scheme heavily favors green. Normally not a problem, however you will find these will only match up to tru-spec digital woodland pants or USMC issued BDU’s. So I used with my marpat woodland pants purchased at the MCX before a 2 week deployment back to Ukraine this past month. While the region I was in had not quite warmed up enough to see more of the dark greens, the AO was heavy with pines. I found in temperate pre-spring weather that this top worked excellent both in camouflage against the environment and in releasing/dissipating sweat from carrier. Note the material for the arms is designed for warm weather which is a plus, however if your not humping it in hot weather it can get cold if you are static for too long, not an issue, just threw on a coyote fleece jacket. Was surprised I didn’t get hypothermic like I usually do this time of year when I wear crye’s version. My guess is it had to do with the fabric being heavier/denser on the crye top. So for the price point, I’m here to tell you if you know your AO and it fits the narrative above, buy this top if your command will allow it. It’s now battle tested personally by me and I can you te...

Great Shirt

by Zulu, from MO, United States Written on September 21, 2018
The shirt is great and I wore it out in the field. The sleeves are thick as regular OCPs which kind of retains heat but they are durable and it does keep you cooler while using a plate carrier. Compared to the massif brand this is my second favorite. The stitching is high quality as well as the velcro.
Pros:
  • keeps you cool
Cons:
  • Sleeves are thick
Best Used for:
  • Getting Grimey

Great shirt

by moduckgal, from MO, United States Written on December 26, 2017
I am very happy with this shirt. Only problem I have with it is probably my fault. I am at that inbetween XL and XXL belly stage. I was torn between which size. I ordered the XXL and now I wish I had went with the XL. There is plenty of comfort stretch to the XXL in the body material of this shirt. Very comfortable shirt to wear.
Pros:
  • Comfort under my outer carrier vest. Love the pockets on the sleeves.
Cons:
  • none yet
Best Used for:
  • Law Enforcement Duty

Fits well but arms are too stiff

by DTM, from CA, United States Written on October 12, 2017
The fit is exactly what you expect and the material for the torso is very comfortable. When wearing with a tac vest or plate carrier it feels like a sort tee shirt against your skin. One complaint is that he arms are extremely stiff. Too stiff in my opinion. Makes movement feel a bit clumsy.
Pros:
  • Great Fit
Cons:
  • Stiff arms

Combat shirt

by DJ, from TN, United States Written on April 12, 2017
Sizing between the large and extra large is a big gap. Large was a little short and a little snug for me when I tried it on at the store so I tried an XL and it was massive compared to the large. Good price and pretty quick shipping. Ended up getting the shirt before some other stuff I ordered even though the shirt hadn't shown that it shipped yet.

Tactical Respomse

by Rick, from LA, United States Written on March 30, 2017
The shirt is exactly what I expected. It is very comfortable and wears easy under the Multicam Uniform. The sleeve cuffs could have been a little softer but, overall I am satisfied. I recommend this to everyone that needs it.

Works in al climates

by Raptor 1-1, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 19, 2017
Ordered this to wear under tactical vest in hot weather. Works great and matches my BDU's. In colder weather it works as another layer under the BDU shirt. Size ran just a bit large for me but is acceptable as I like shirts to be a little loose for comfort. Have purchased Tru-Spec product before and have not been disappointed. Price was right - got it on sale - and shipping was fast.
Pros:
  • Quality
Cons:
  • S

Nice Shirt

by Martofthet, from CO, United States Written on January 12, 2017
I bought this the other day and think its a great shirt. Sleeve material is a little stiff but I wear a long sleeve tee under it. Pockets are handy for storing clips, granola or whatever. I like the look of it and it fits extremely well. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Tactical shirt

Very cheaply made fabric very thin if you were to wear it as it is advertised it would tear very easily. Save your money because I basically threw mine in the trash where this shirt belongs I have nothing good to say about this shirt just it looks good on a hanger

Great well made comfortable shirt

by Bo, from WV, United States Written on December 29, 2016
Great shirt, well made, fits very well. Best of all, extremely comfortable. If there is a negative, it is a bit expensive.
I was lucky enough to get mine on sale. At the sale price the shirt is more than a deal. I would highly recommend this
shirt. Great for tactical use of course. Also hunting, camping, hiking and general outdoor activities. Very satisfied
with all of my Tru-Spec gear.
