Most Helpful Positive Review Tru-Spec Elite three day Backpack - Bag of Holding
This is a great product. I spent a long time comparing what’s available in terms of day packs online and after agonizing over the decision, finally settled on the Tru-Spec Elite three day Backpack. I needed a bag that would be suitable for both hunting trips as well as EDC for my job as an IT tech. This product fits the bill nicely. The production grade is very high – no loose threads or imperfections. The PALS webbing is securely fastened and the large array of compression straps make balancing your load easy. I have a relatively large Alpine sleeping bag that fits length-ways in the pocket o...

Great Value Backpack

by Pierce, Verified Owner from MN, United States Written on March 15, 2021
I was pretty torn on what pack I wanted to get for tree saddle hunting. I wanted to originally get a Mystery Ranch pack as I know the quality is worth the price. At the same time I wanted to save some money and look at other options. There's not a ton of info out on this pack in particular. So I diced it and I really do like the pack. Build quality seems reliable with my climbing sticks/tree stand tied onto the molle webbings. The zippers seem to be of good quality. You get a lot of features for a reasonable price, the pack looks great too.
Pros:
  • value
  • Looks
  • tough
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Day pack
  • tree stand

Comfortable backpack that helps you organize all that you carry!

by Mike C, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on August 24, 2018
Comfortable well shaped shoulder straps that distribute the weight of the contents of your backpack. The three compartments help to organize your contents. Two nylon mesh pockets are large enough to hold 40oz metal water bottle with QR straps to support weight. Middle compartment has zippers that allow you to unzip just enough to view contents of mesh organizers or pack gear. I replaced short Zipper pulls with parachute cord for easier access with gloves hands. Plastic stiffener inside pack helps pack retain shape & distribute weight of contents. Cushioned Mesh back pad allows air to circulate between you & backpack. Unbelievable how comfortable carrying weight in your pack can be. A valued purchase at a great price from Optics Planet!
Pros:
  • Very comfortable, well balanced, good internal support
Cons:
  • Short zipper pulls that can be replaced with 550 parachute cord.
Best Used for:
  • EDC

very good back pack

by joe, Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on May 2, 2018
Purchased to use for training in Army Reserves. Replaces the ugly ACU issue backpack. This backpack was ordered in coyote because it provides some uniform proofing meaning as the Army keeps changing uniform patterns, a basic coyote color seems to keep working. Anyway, the backpack has a lot of room, closely matches the size of the ACU issued backpack. It has a lot of pockets. YKK zippers. Soft and strong straps. Nice to have opening for water drinking tube. Also nice to have water bottle meshes on th esides. Very strong and well made. Seams are secure. Great bag.
Pros:
  • strong, waterproof closure device
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • outdoors activities

Solid Bag that meets needs

by Eric, from FL, United States Written on February 5, 2017
Got the coyote bag on deep discount. Amazing product with all the bells and whistles. I really love the hidden pouch for the carry weapon of your choice. Plenty of room in all compartments of the bag. The only thing that I don't like 100% as of right now are the zippers. They can be a little tough to get to and get moving - but there are positive reasons behind this too. This pack is perfect for the field, street, and work.

Nice, well made backpack except for the..

by Mr ED, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on November 11, 2016
zipper pulls. Two of them broke apart in the first week--which was a surprise considering how well made the backpack is made. All the pockets are well thought out and access via heavy duty zippers. I wish the carry handle was bigger--it's more for kid sized hands as it's difficult to quickly grab the handle securely. Also, beside the usual molle I like the two web pouches--very handy!
Pros:
  • well made
Cons:
  • low grade zipper pulls
Best Used for:
  • BOB

Great for everything

Durable, reliable and good looking pack. Suits for hiking, riding, travelling by plane (the size is perfect to take it on board) and just carrying things. Not to mention its tactical specifications. In the bottom compartment you will find a waterproof cover.
