I bought these because I had dropped my Walther P99 and destroyed its adjustable plastic sites. Their sights requires a steel plunger integral to the sights that was also damaged.

Now, please be aware, you will need a special site tool to press and adjust these sites, it can be purchased on Amazon for not much money; NCstar brand.

But once these are installed its as if I have a new gun. They are bright in low light conditions and super visible in the daytime, much like the original white painted dots. The only drawback is that you cannot adjust these like the stock Walther sites, which is a trade off for durability.

There was one hiccup. When the front sight was installed, it was loose and rattled around. I went to Ace Hardware and bought a stainless washer to fit inside of the slide where the site base comes through and screws in. After I thread locked and tightened it down, it was solid. This cost the product one star for fitment issues.

The sights literally don't work.

Had them installed on my PPQ before realizing that the tritium is 100% faded and gives off zero glow, and the fiber optic is dim as well. These are probably 12+ years old. Not sure why Optic planet is still selling them, totally defective. Waste of 130 bucks plus 45 having them installed.

I am very happy with these sights on my PPQ 5". I really like the shape and function. The fiber optics work pretty well in light. The large bright white ring works well in poor lighting. And the tritium is decent in the dark. Not super bright but bright enough that it gave me an advantage at a night time IDPA match. Overall great if you want versatile sights. The only things I don't like are that the rear sight is press in instead of using something like the factory PPQ adjustment and that the point of impact is at the center of the front dot instead of the top on the front post.

Absolutely love these sights! In my installation, there was a little filing needed on the bottom surface of the sights before they would slide into the dovetail, but that was not difficult. The tritium glow is good in low light conditions, and the fiber glows sufficiently in bright light conditions. I've put these sights on two of my firearms and love them on both.

The rear site would not slide into position like the original rear site piece. I had to gently file a slight amount off on both sides of the slide base in order to get the new site into position. I love the new site. It actually glows in the dark and is very bright in daylight. In poorly lighted areas it is not as bright as I had hoped, but the original site was no different there either. It actually works best when in slight lit areas having the light at your back.

The machining and finish is great. The gap in the rear sight makes a nice sight picture. The fiber optics are bright in daylight and well protected. These are well above their cheaper competitor and have tritium for night use to boot. The white ring around the front dot is a nice touch as well. I will be buying more for other handguns.

have been installing and using sights throughout 34 year career in LE. Also worked on and instructed in firearms use and repair as well. Having said that many different sights are indeed available and used but these recent fiber optic and tritium sight sets are great. For having any difficulty seeing sights in lighted times or areaswhether, despite whether sunlight or artificial light these fiber optics are wonderful. Then when entering low or no light areas or times the tritium illuminates the fiber optic and again they are easily viewed. Overall I have promoted and installed many of these in recent time and will continue for those that see the benefits as well. All's they have to do is look at the sights placed on a weapon and there is the proof..
