Some of the best pistol sights you can buy, good target acquisition and easy to line up when drawing to fire. Vibrant colors and impressive glow for darker settings.

I bought this for my walther p99c since truglo said that it would work. The front site installed fine with a little work to get it in. The rear site works but not with the plunger that my gun has to hold the factory rear site. If you remove the plunger it goes on easy with a good press. But the site does not cover the whole hole where the plunger was. Overall I like the sites.

I've tried every type of sights on my handguns but it was always a compromise between daylight and darkness shooting. I didn't know these sights have existed for awhile until I saw a mention of them on one of the firearms sites I subscribe to. I have a good Maryland Gunworks sight tool and pushing the old sights out and pushing the new ones in were a piece of cake. From my experience I don't believe that many people know that most handgun gun-sights should be pushed in from the right side of the frame because the dovetails are cut a bit wider for the first 1/8 inch or so. It lets you basically start installing the sights simply by putting them in by hand with a little tap from the plastic side of my Swiss Army knife or my small brass or plastic hammer.
The sights are almost intensely bright during the day because of the light gathering cutouts and the fiber optic pipe is literally surrounded by metal and extremely well protected. The tritium glow at night seems to me to be the brightest of any Tritium sights I own and they seem bigger than some companies.
The Optics Planet price is the best anywhere.
I plan on switching all of my carry or competition type guns to these sights over time.

Huge difference from stock sights. Much better than just tritium alone. Luckily my buddy had the sight tool needed to remove and replace these sights. Otherwise, I would have had to use a gunsmith. Now I'm just waiting for TRUGLO to make sights for my CZ Rami.

Great sights. They work great day and at night. I need to get them for all my pistols. I like the contrast in colors between the front sight and rear sight. I would recommend these sights to everyone.

No real problem with the sight itself. The TFX sights remedy the 'recreational' TFOs durability problems, and try to get some of the market share of the Trijicon HD with the cocking ledge, and in the PRO series, the colored front iris and u-notch rear.
I'm not a fan of the sight picture it presents, and the fiber optic is much less bright than the TFO. I do think the new finish wears better, and have always been a fan of the sight picture being the same day and night.
My frustration with this unit is that it had a very small slotted screw in the front sight. The head was too small to bear against the inside of the slide to hold it on. I called TruGlo and they sent me the proper hex head screw - it took 10 days longer to get the screw.
I don't believe that the sight was packed this way new. I believe it was a return that was not properly verified before reselling. I did not involve Optics Planet in the fix - sending the product back seemed like wasted time and resource.
Optics Planet has always had good prices. The only time I've involved customer service it was handled well. Shipping availability was the only prior concern with OP, I hope they don't make a habit of selling less than 100% of what the manufacturer intended.

These were as described. Great quality as expected for the price. Front sight was very easy to install with provided screw and fit snugly once screw bottomed out. Rear sight would not line up straight and installation start and I had to take a jewelers file to relieve the dovetail slightly in order to get a light press fit into dovetail in gun slide Seemed to be a few tenths (.0001-.0002 in.) big. Once installed, they fit perfectly and look like they came manufactured directly from Walther. This should only be installed by a gunsmith or if you do it yourself, with a sight tool which I used. Would not recommend any other methods because it would be very easy to damage these with anything other than light even force when pressing into mating slide. I have not taken these to the range but have purchased another set for a Glock pistol and am extremely happy with fit and overall accuracy once installed. I would put these on every gun I own... Only gave them 4 of 5 stars because of slight fitment issue, otherwise 5 of 5!

These are a outstanding sight replacement on my PPQ M2 Navy. They are very easy to pick up in bright light and in dim to total dark. I am more than satisfied in their finish and appearance.
My friend bought the same pistol and got these sights, I shot his once and immediately acquired these sights.
It took a gunsmith 15-20 mins and 35$ to put these on. I wish these came on every pistol I buy.
Caveat is that I would like to try/see a raised version so you could still fully use them with a can on.
Pros:
- Quality
- visibility
- Funcionality
Best Used for:
- Target acquisition
- Edc and home defense

Fit and finish were fantastic. Easy installation. Great addition to my PPQ. The fiber optics are bright in sun, and the tritium makes them easy to see at night. Truly a set of sights for all conditions.

Just got these in. My own fault that I did not look at it closely before ordering. The rear sight will need to be pressed in by someone with the proper tool. Also, you will not be able to use the windage adjustment screw anymore.
