It's actually a pretty good scope, if you get the 2018 model; kinda heavy!
This AR scope has great clarity all the way out to maximum power--even at the edges. For the price, it compares directly to the Bushnell AR Optics and AR/223 scopes when on sale. I did not like the Bushnell 1-4X24 because it did not have crosshairs in the reticle, just a series of horseshoe-patter...

HEAVY... oh, so heavy. Almost two pounds!
Yeah, OP, I have no idea where you get the 17.5 ounce weight for these. TruGlo lists it at 28 ounces. This thing must be made of heavier aluminum than I'm used to. Did not mount it to a rifle. In the package, it felt like it weighed more. I was surprised it was under two pounds. If you're putt...

Way better than anticipated.
This is a very high quality optic for the price. Super clear with nice illuminated reticle. Mount is a little bit low in my opinion but doesn’t cause a problem because the eye relief is so good you can move it forward. I did receive a return or demo on the first delivery that had a dead battery and a stripped out mounting screw but OP quickly shipped me a new one out and everything is peachy.
Pros:
- Clarity and Eye Relief
Cons:
- none yet
Best Used for:
- AR15
Would recommend: Yes
Missing ring screws
The scope came, battery still good, clear vision, missing some of the Allen screws from the mounting rings. So the mount is pretty much useless, maybe the scope will work on another set of rings/mount..??
Pros:
- seems solid, clear
Cons:
- missing parts
Best Used for:
- fishing weight, or un-mounted monocular
Would recommend: No
Tru-Glo is very under rated. Works great on an AR or a .30-30 as well!
I have this scope on my HENRY X3030 and it works GREAT. It has BOTH red and green illumination and the reticle is AWESOME. This is my second TruGlo and I have NEVER had any issues with either of them. This is one of the best scopes for the price you pay!!
Pros:
- Shock and water proof
- Price and install ease
- Reliability and ease of use
Cons:
- weight
Best Used for:
- hunting

Good product for the price
Haven't had a chance to take it to the range and officially zero it in but bore sighted it and appears to be well made just a little tricky turning illumination on and off thought I had it off but apparently was still on and killed the battery

Definitely worth the price
Only took me about 30 minutes to sight it in at 100yds. Quality picture and crisp reticle is unmatched for this price. A little on the heavy side (about 3 pounds) for a scope but the quality and ease of use is worth it. Both the green and red reticles are also very sharp and the ability to change the brightness is useful to keep it from reflecting around the edges in dark areas. Mount is snug and there is absolutely no shake or shift which is the one thing that I was wary of when ordering. Even the eye relief is high quality. Only thing that I noticed right out the box is the lack of instructional material. I've been taught how to zero a scope but for someone without this knowledge they would have to resort to the internet. Fantastic scope for the price and I will definitely keep an eye out for Truglo in my future purchases.
Pros:
- Quality reticles and eye relief
- Lights are sharp and adjustable brightness
- Mount is solid and wont sway
- You won't find a better scope for the price advertised
Cons:
- Lack of instructions (concerning for beginners)
- Weight (3 pounds)
Best Used for:
- target shooting 100 - 300 yards

Truglo Tac Scope.
I purchased this scope for an AR 10 and have shot about a box of shells with it. It seems to hold true however, I have not done any long distance shooting with it. The black, red and green reticles provide plenty of options for a variety of backgrounds. I would recommend it, for the price and features It works great.

Pretty Good So Far!
So I've had this thing for a couple weeks now and it's holding up pretty well. The image is nice and bright as well as sharp. Did not take much to get it set and it seems to be holding true! Once I get a few more rounds down range I will update. As of now I would buy again....
Pros:
- The tactical turrets are very handy for rapid ranging!
Cons:
- Kinda heavy! But I'm shooting from a bi-pod
- Kind of heavy! But I'm shooting from a bi-pod so I dont really mind!

Seems great for the price
I've had this to the range twice after zeroing and it seems like a great scope for the cost. It's a bit on the heavy side, and the instructions were a bit lacking for someone with no scope experience, but I was hitting nice groups at 100 yrds within an hour.

3x9x42 scope
Very impressed with this scope. Running it on an AR because most tactical scopes only adjust in 1/2 MOA increments. This is a great option for longer distance accuracy. Not to mention an economic price.

Truglow 3x9x42
The item is just as described I put it on my 6.5 Grendel it holds zero perfect fast and free shipping I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Now to find something to put on my 556 and my 7.62x39. Opticsplanet is a great resource and very affordable.
