Clearly the op's review goes without much build experience.The tab is precisely offset to accommodate holding the buffer retaining pin/detent from one side only. Some buffer tubes have the tab centered with a slot to allow the pin to protrude. This one does not...both tubes work just fine. This tube...

Most Helpful Negative Review Defective /
You can see it in the stock photo. The tab that protrude from the buffer tube that holds in your buffer detent is off center. You cannot get your stock on straight. This design is complete junk. I will be contacting customer service

It’s exactly what it says it is. Durable. Black. Screws into the lower receiver. I have zero issues, no marks no deficiencies. The buffer tube and spring fit inside with appropriate amount of snugness.

Standard budfer tube

Worked good on my ak, i do not see any issue with it. Mil spec stocks fit on perfect Dont waste money an a more expensive one. Used in conjunction with sb tactical ak fork brace. Not much more to say .
