Most Helpful Positive Review Doesn't cycle .223 from a pistol
I installed this buffer and spring on a 12.5" ar pistol with all "mil-spec" working parts. Upon install I noticed that the spring was significantly more rigid than the other build I did this summer (PSA pistol build kit for full disclosure). When I took it out for its first function check, I was using Wolf 55gr .223 (which is about the only thing i can find these days). The first round fired with no issue, and I saw the casing eject. Incredibly underweight

This is not H1, H2, or H3. Despite it sharing the form factor, the weight is actually a carbine buffer stack. This thing weighed in at 2.8oz or so. Your gun will likely be INCREDIBLY overgassed if you run this. I had to buy this quick and cheap for someone else's standard AR and this thing was beating up cases and had crazy erratic ejection and could tell the gun was overgassed. Then I weighed this buffer and sure enough it's below even the most budget weight. I would NOT recommend you run this.

I caught this buffer tube spring on sale for less than $7.00, cant remember the exact price, but it was $6.90-something. My only regret is i only bought (1). I wasn't sure it would be a good quality item, so didn't want to risk buying multiples. The spring is what you would expect for any mil-spec buy and i will definitely be on the lookout for another sale on them as i have multiple builds in progress and its always good to have spares on hand.
