Most Helpful Positive Review Doesn't cycle .223 from a pistol
I installed this buffer and spring on a 12.5" ar pistol with all "mil-spec" working parts. Upon install I noticed that the spring was significantly more rigid than the other build I did this summer (PSA pistol build kit for full disclosure). When I took it out for its first function check, I was using Wolf 55gr .223 (which is about the only thing i can find these days). The first round fired with no issue, and I saw the casing eject. I caught this buffer tube spring on sale for less than $7.00, cant remember the exact price, but it was $6.90-something. My only regret is i only bought (1). I wasn't sure it would be a good quality item, so didn't want to risk buying multiples. The spring is what you would expect for any mil-spec buy and i will definitely be on the lookout for another sale on them as i have multiple builds in progress and its always good to have spares on hand.
