Excellent budget spare to have
I got this, along with the cam pin, to have as backup. I have a simple Diamondback DB15, along with a full spare nitride BCG by Trybe. So I installed this bolt and cam pin into the Trybe BCG and put a few mags through it the other day. Zero issues. I can't comment on durability with a high round count, but as a spare it should be great. I know that there are general concerns about NiB finishes so I'm not sure I'd use it as main. I like nitride finish.
Initially I thought the gas rings felt somehow loose or appeared a tad larger than I'm used to, but the bolt rides nice and tight in the carrier and function was flawless.
If anyone cares, it's a 16", carbine gas, and I tried 223 (55gr), 556 M183 (55gr), and AAC 75gr OTM, all without issues.
So far I have tried Trybe's charging handles, complete BCG's, and now this bolt. Have not seen any real defects. Just sent back a dust cover that had the printing off-center and crooked, that's the only thing. I hope they keep improving so we can have these inexpensive options.

Good economical bolt and firing pin
My AR all of a sudden stopped firing, took it apart and suspected the bolt and firing pin. After cleaning it still didn’t fire. Found this and the firing pin as a set. Installed it in my bolt carrier and works great.
Pros:
- good quality
Cons:
- None

Looks great!
Received this bolt quickly after placing my order for the 5.56 NATO nickel boron bolt assembly. Since the price was so friendly I bought two, one for myself and another for my son. The bolts came each in a little plastic bag, very plain and unremarkable.
Keep in mind that while I am an experienced shooter, I am no gunsmith or such, and my opinions are those of a layman. My visual examination of the bolt assembly was positive. The nickel boron finish is slick, sure to mean less lubricant is required and may make cleaning easier. I did not see any machining marks anywhere on the bolt, everything looked as it should be. Overall, it looks very well made. I have not yet taken it to the range so I can not comment on performance.
