Incredibly Lightweight
I got the 12 inch version and was super surprised by just how light it was. I was skeptical about its strength because I was unsure how strong something this lightweight could be. After install I was delighted with how it felt. I had combined this with a faxon pencil barrel and my build was super we...

Not as light as advertised
I bought this rail for a budget lightweight build as a cheaper alternative to the carbon fiber rails out there and was excited by the advertised weight. The 12 inch handguard real weight is 5.7 ounces not the advertised 4.86. When you include the barrel nut the total weight is 9.5 ounces which albei...

should be 0 stars for this wet noodle of a handguard
Stay away from this garbage. I wouldn't use this flimsy piece of junk on an airsoft rifle! Looks nice but the design is so flimsy it isn't usable for a real rifle at least in the 15" version. just handling it caused the handguard to flex into the gas block. Spend money on something with more rigidity.
Pros:
- Looks nice
Cons:
- not usable for intended purpose
Best Used for:
- SCRAP METAL RE-CYCLING
Would recommend: No
Not Great Quality
After installing this handguard I have three issues that would keep me from recommending it. I installed it on a DPMS AR. The first thing I noticed was the powder coating had pretty bad orange peel in several spots. Not real attractive. The second issue was that when tightening the screws I alternated back and forth between the screws and they just kept turning. Not stripping out turning but the metal was soft enough the metal was flexing which may have led to the third complaint in that the picatinny rails would not line up. It looks good but accuracy and details mater.

Super light
Wanted to go super light on a budget. It's lighter than what I have for sure. Without anti-cant pins and w/ the recommended 3lbs of torque to the screws.... I'm not planning on tossing it around.

soft aluminum
This is made with really soft aluminum. It makes it super light, but it also deforms easily. The aluminum bent when I attached an mlok forward grip. The mlok screws and nuts literally bent the attachment point when I tightened the screws. So I’m not too confident in that the rest of the rail won’t deform in some way. Also, the sling QD mounting holes are too small and I had the drill them out to work.

Cheapest aluminum ever
Went to set the set screws set my torque wrench to 18 pounds and literally stripped the aluminum right out.
Pros:
- Looks good
Cons:
- Easy to strip the threads.

Barrel Nut Snapped
When torquing barrel nut to 50ft/lb it snapped. Material feels cheap and nut sturdy. If the nut was made out of steel or titanium then this is one very light Handguard.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Machine Quality is Terrible
Would recommend: No
Needs modification
This piece has little ears that are to fit into/against the upper. But it did not fit without trimming the edges back about 1/4 inch. It is great light weight an appears to be sturdy. I used it for a light weight build.
Pros:
- light weight
- Comes with barrel nut
Cons:
- Fit needs trimming
Best Used for:
- Light weight builds with mid-length or shorter gas tube builds.

horrible product
The thread on the handguard simply came off as you screw it on your AR. I was so surprised that this happen. This must be a factory default product. I'm going to write Opticplanet to see if they will help me.
