Great deal on superlight Handguards

Quality Handguards from Trybe. They are Magnesium and I was surprised at how much lighter than Aluminum they are but it's really noticeable. Now I'll probably counter them with a heavy barrel, but what they hey. Nice large/secure barrel nut comes with them too.

I was looking for parts for my new 300 blackout pistol build and ran across this on sale. For the price I had to give it a shot and I am happy I did. It is extremely lightweight and surprisingly strong for being so. I was looking for an alternative to the heavy aluminum quad rail I had.

Rail falls off barrel nut.

I have the FDE rail, it’s lightweight and the finish looks great. The barrel nut can be easily damaged if over torqued. The two Allen bolts that secure the rail to the barrel nut aren’t adequate. They should havve 3 bolts.

The instructions said only tower the bolts to 3 lbs. which is NOTHING! I followed these instructions and the rail came off while I was shooting. Very dangerous. I know this is for a budget build but a shooter shouldn’t have to worry about the rail falling off.

Super Discounted

I purchased quite a few of these on the super discount sale and cannot complain at all! After reading reviews, I purchased a M5 screw kit from amazon first and replaced all of the screws with slightly longer and better quality ones for just a few dollars to prevent them from stripping. No issues with the nuts or fitment, its a fantastic deal

So many negative reviews and not sure why, all the directions say the foot pounds and such. I built a new 6 arc with it and it makes a great lightweight 1 moa hole puncher

Trybe hand rail 9”

Works good for what I need. I haven’t had it on for years but seems to lock up tight. It’s not a $100 hand guard so some of the recessed screw inserts aren’t there but I knew that for the pictures. If you want the nicer stuff buy it but this was fine for me. I would buy again. Works as intended.

Item longer than what is listed in description

I ordered this specifically because it said it was 7 inches long. I could not go any longer than that length because my suppressor won’t attach. The overall length of it is 7.25” so now I have to modify it by cutting a portion off in order to make it fit. . I did not see in any of the information the overall length. Very nice item but I am extremely frustrated.

Everything seemed perfect...until I went to attach the QD sling....the holes are drilled too small on both side....and NOT returnable

Barrel nut is poor quality in my opinion compared to major brands. Rail it self looks good very light but material is very soft. Both screws striped at 2ft-lbs. it is not worth a penny to me. I spent time painting it and days later when mounting stripped both screws. I am ordering UTG Pro or Midwest Industries as a replacement. This one goes to garbage as I probably can’t return it as it was final sale and I painted it. What a waste of time and money.
