metallic chrome

I have been impressed with the quality of the Trybe products that I have purchased. Upon initial inspection, this metallic chrome BCG looks and feels like that of a more expensive competitor product. We will have to see how it stands up to the heat and abuse at the range. If a mil spec BCG will hold up, I'm sure this one will, and then some.

Trybe BCG 5.56

This BCG functions fine, and seems to be of decent quality, but the nickel biron finish leaves much to be desired. Typically a NB finish is expected to be smooth, even shiny so that carbon does dot build up or stick as easily as other finishes. This finish has a great deal of texture which actually has the opposite effect of what is desired in a NB finish. But the price reflects this, it was much cheaper than other Nickel Boron finished carrier groups.
