Sleeper Quality
First thing I noticed when I unboxed this scope is the weight. Very light compared to similar 3-18x options I have had my hands on.
The optical clarity and the added features this scope offers while maintaining such a balanced weight is very impressive.
Magnification ring adjusts smoothly without feeling sloppy. Turrets are easy to unlock and have crisp adjustments. Zeroing the scope and resetting the turrets doesn't require any additional tools which is very nice.
I have very minor complaints about this scope
1) The purge plug sticks out a bit such that none of my one piece mounts were compatible, so make sure your mount has adequate clearance or just go to a two piece setup like the Warne rings i used.
2)Illumination is a single push button control. I prefer a rheostat. Not really an issue but worth mentioning as it is different than most.
Great update to a proven scope in the US Optics lineup.

Brilliant update to the LR-17
Purchased thru DVOR with the MGR ret. Glad to see both a 50mm objective, and also the tunneling has been reduced. The FOV @ 17 power is absolutely wonderful. Colors are right up there with the best, and the CA is little to be found. Resolution is aces, picture is HUGE and optics are very bright....

US Optics B17 high expections. Failed
I purchased the B17 in May 2018. Mounted with MI 34mm mount. Installed on AR-30 Rifle.
Installation went good, no problems or issues there. 1st time at range, easy to sight in but, the turrets are not positive. Clicks feel mushy and you are not sure if it really moves or not. Took a precision ...

Simply awesome!
This is one of the nicest scopes I have ever owned! The glass is crystal clear and beautiful to look through. The fit, finish and build quality of the scope is perfect. Turret tracking and click feedback is spot on. On top of all that this thing looks awesome. I currently own S&B, Leupold and some older US Optics and this is my new favorite. Buy this thing!!
Pros:
- Military grade
Cons:
- None

- anything requiring target acquisition
