Well designed with the competitive shooter in mind!
The mat is well designed and very high quality.
I recently bought this to replace a mat bought from one of the large box stores due to the fact is was a roll type and the U.S. Peacekeeper is a tri-fold. Both mats work BUT the reason for buying the U.S. Peacekeeper was when I used the mat in the mornings during competition shooting, the box store roll type mat would somewhat remain rolled on the end making the mat hard to use. With the U.S. Peacekeeper, since it is a “folded” type mat even in the early cold mornings the mat will lay flat.

Awesome shooting mat, but not very compact
This is a high quality, military grade shooting mat, and it's the best I've ever owned. My only issue is the fact that it's not more "compact-able" than it is (meaning I wish it could be rolled up to a smaller carrying size). For it's purpose, though, it's superb... And it looks cool too!

I live in the desert so needless to say prone shooting requires a padded mat to protect the shooter from rocks and other things that like to poke or stick.
Easy to deploy as it’s a four section folding mat.
No worries about it rolling back up on you should you get off of it to check your targets.
It has a non-slip area for your elbows and a double stitched “lip” at the front of the mat that allows you to load your bipod.
The front
of the mat features two convenient storage pockets for small items, your DOPE book, or other small items.
When finished pew-pewing just pick it up, shake it off, fold it up and secure it with the three straps and quick release buckles.
It’s a little bit bigger than a Crosstac (a great mat also available from OpticsPlanet) but less expensive.
