Perfect carry handle optic mount for retro AR's
The Kensight mount works great for retro builds. It's more period correct for Gordy's or Vickers retro's than even A.R.M.S. Mounts commonly used. Can't go wrong

This mount looks great, but is not machined narrow enough to fit into the recess of the carry handle. If you do not have a milling machine, or want to spend the time working on it, do not order. Nothing wrong with this mount
Listen, you don’t need to spend $150+ on an A.R.M.S carry handle rail. There is nothing wrong with this one at all. It fits perfectly to my A1 handle. Makes my Gordy build look beautiful. The slots are all in just the right place. You only need to get the A.R.M.S one if you need the extra slots, and you really want a black nitride rail that will match the color of your standard uppers and lowers (this ones Parkerized, it has that old school colt grey look).

Slightly out of spec
Be real, you're here because you're cloning and an ARMS is overpriced unobtanium right now. Be warned, it will mount up solid, but the rail section is just slightly out of spec. I would recommend using with repro sights or cheap ring mounts only. Wouldn't want to end up potentially mangling a nice vintage sight by torqueing it on one of these. Your mileage may vary, just give it a once over before giving it the beans.

Received in "used" condition
Item was received and my Brittany Spaniels milk bones were packaged better. Upon the item falling out of the clear plastic blister and onto the workbench, the item had numerous scratch marks on both sides... obviously installed and returned at some point. I took photos and contacted customer service and they were awesome. I have a small store credit in their system now. Item attached to my GAU build without issue and will suffice. If not for the conditions, I would have rated the item 5 stars. Poor packaging and receiving a used item awards a business no more than 4 stars.

Quality item, used....sold as "new"
Upon receiving the package, the mount fell out of the plastic packaging. I immediately noticed marks/scratches grom previous usage. I use my weapons as they are "tools" but it is sad to pay top dollar plus shipping as well for a used item.

AR15A2 Carry Handle Scope Base - Perfect Fit !!
This AR15A2 carry handle scope base, is a perfect fit! Machined and quality made. The fit is rock solid and perfectly matched the dimensions of my Colt AR15A2, Match Barrel rifle. Stay away from the cheap, knock off scope bases that can be had from online retailers like A*#%n and E-*%y. I’m glade I purchased this base. So far, still holding scope zero with over 200 rounds shot!
