Will not seat in carry handle due to incorrect machining.
This mount looks great, but is not machined narrow enough to fit into the recess of the carry handle. If you do not have a milling machine, or want to spend the time working on it, do not order. (There was a reason it was on sale for $3.00.) It will only take a couple of thousandths machined off each side to make it work, but the time to drive out the pin to remove the attachment stud, set up on the milling machine, then mill both sides is just not worth it.
AR15A2 Carry Handle Scope Base - Perfect Fit !!
This AR15A2 carry handle scope base, is a perfect fit! Machined and quality made. The fit is rock solid and perfectly matched the dimensions of my Colt AR15A2, Match Barrel rifle. Stay away from the cheap, knock off scope bases that can be had from online retailers like A*#%n and E-*%y. I’m glade I purchased this base. So far, still holding scope zero with over 200 rounds shot!

This fits very tight with no wiggle room. It leaves the Iron sight open for use with the tunnel through it.

This M16/AR15 Carry Handle Mount appears to be similar or identical to the Colt M16/AR15 Carry Handle Mount. The only thing missing is the Colt logo. Made in the USA and is reasonably priced.
