Most Helpful Negative Review UTG AR15 magazine
I love the looks/style of this magazine. However.. the spring is not strong enough to feed reliably in my 14.5” 5.56… I was very bummed about this considering I had bought 2 of them but thought I would try them in my .300blk using subs. Thankfully they do work and feed quickly enough to work with the .300blk subs so they are now dedicated only to that round and luckily not in the trash.

Leapers UTG Pro 30 Rnd Window Mag

The magazine has a feel that I would describe as sci-fi or unnecessarily futuristic. Almost like they belong on a weapon in the Judge Dredd universe. Or just about any 80's action movie set in the "Future". The raised bumps allow for extra traction when grabbing but feel odd. They are more of a distraction at the moment. Could change with more time using said magazines. The spring is nice and the best part about the magazine is the floor plates they come with. With getting them at roughly $6/1. I am able to overlook the negatives for some spare magazines for range day.
Pros:
  • floor plates
Cons:
  • feel like a toy
Best Used for:
  • shooting
