Just what I expected
The D Grip is as described - I love it. A bit heavy but I knew that going in. The Quick Disconnect is great and allows to drop the weight easily if needed. The lates model I bought (with the ambi buttons on top) is the only way to go. Highly recommend this product. No need to buy a range bench rest with this solid bibod. Don't hesitate to purchase. Surprised of the quality for such a low price. Paid more for anti walk trigger pins that are just that, simple pins!
nice bipod vertical grip
Nice quick attachable and detachable verical grip that is also a quick deployable bipod. Wish it also came in FDE.

Terrible prodcut
Everything about this product is wrong,
1. The legs are too slippery to hold to any surface.
2. The QD lever is on the wrong wide and there is no way to hold it comfortably with high grip, if you want your thumb over the rail.
3. The groove is too pronounced, forcing you to hold the palm in an awkward position, such that you bend your palm inwards.
4. The QD is very flimsy. The only way to adjust is a set screw that either presses too hard to cancel the QD feature or too loose to keep it locked.
Terrible ergonomics. Terrible engineering. Terrible look and feel. Terrible everything. Did I say it's terrible? It. Is. Terrible.
Really.
Don't buy.

Excellent grip and bipod especially for Gun N Run competitions and events!
I just bought a second one to keep as a spare. This has helped me so much in Gun and Run events for the long shots on my AR for shots from 100-440 yards and shooting from the prone position. It has been durable for me and truly helped me qualify on numerous challenging stages. The product is durable and as a southpaw the ambi button is perfect.
One additional thing I have added as I am constantly running 4-10K events with this, is I have an additional velcro tactical type band I keep at the top to keep the bipod from inadvertently slipping out while doing physical activities and things at the events and stages. As I approach the stage, I just slip the band in my pants pocket as I approach the event. It just makes me feel more comfortable having the additional band holding in the spring-loaded bipod. The aircraft aluminum is sturdy and strong and feels good in close-quarter combat-type situations or shoot houses as well. Really a great value and very affordable and durable for what you get!

UTG D GRIP W/BIPOD
The UTG D Grip is very well made and the grip is super comfortable. The Bipod ambidextrous quick release is very intuitive and once the bipod is released, the weapon is very stable. I feel that this grip is the best value out there.

Sturdy product
Let me start by saying I am a novice when it comes to shooting. I've recently purchased a AR15 and me and some friends go to the range regularly. I've been adding and changing parts on the gun as I go. There are many style and types of forward grips between us, but Leapers bipod is a favorite. It's study construction and quick deployment make for a great addition to my weapon. It's a bit heavy at first to get use to, but you adapt easily.
Pros:
- Study construction
Cons:
- Bit heavier then others

Great price! Very well made!
I’ve looked at several bipod grips and the others were much lighter because they were made of polymer or plastic, even the legs. Just didn’t seem like they would make a sturdy shooting platform. This bipod grip on the other hand is made out of aluminum and looks and feels like a quality addition to my weapons. The spring loaded legs make a very sturdy shooting rest and they disappear into the handgrip when not in use. If I have any complaints it would be the weight but I’ll gladly carry a few extra ounces to get a better product!
Pros:
- Sturdy all aluminum construction, looks fantastic
Cons:
- Little heavy but thats not really a bad thing

Good price, sturdy AND effective
I bought this because the reviews were good and I didn’t feel like paying $150 for a dang foregrip-bipod. I’m happy to say, I was VERY impressed. This thing is so solid, I once knocked my AR off a table and it landed right on the legs of the bipod with a barely noticeable chip on one of the legs. So far, I have 2k rounds downrange with this thing and it hasn’t even budged. It’s so good, I bought another. Highly recommended. It is heavy though, but you’re shoving two things onto one item, so that comes with the territory.
Pros:
- Sturdy
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- Range

You get what you pay for!
I’ve looked at several bipod/grips and this is by far the best! Most of the others I’ve seen are made of polymer which would fine but the bipod legs are cheap weak plastic. This one is all aluminum even the legs! Very well made and makes for a sturdy shooting rest. No rattles when the legs are folded. Looks great, feels great and I’m glad I waited to find a quality product!
Pros:
- Material, build, finish and quick detach
Cons:
- A little heavy but that is probably nitpicking. Only if desiring an ultralight gun.

Great product!
Awesome! The description is WRONG, but I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the great feature awaiting me.....a BIPOD. This grip DOES have a BIPOD in the handle that is quick deploy with the use of a button! The BIPOD conveniently flips out the backside of the handle with the push of a button. This grip is quality metal with rubber accents. My complaint, not knowing about the BIPOD feature and buying a dedicated BIPOD before actually researching this grip. This website does not provide the proper photos or description for this grip. Google the grip for a better description and photos, this in on Opticsplanet. That being said, Opticsplanet has been GREAT with this one exception. I use this grip on my AK and it works perfectly. I have medium size adult hands and the actual hand grip was perfect. For the money, I would buy this again. I have had polymer grips in the past that were fantastic, buy I truly enjoy this Grip/Bipod. Stop your search for a Grip/Bipod and buy this one. Again, I was surprised when I open the grip to discover it is also a BIPOD. Seriously, what a fantastic product!
Pros:
- Quality
- awesome
- bipod
- Heavy and durable
- Aluminium
Cons:
- description of product misleading
