Can't go wrong with V Seven, very sturdy and light weight at the same time.

The color of mine is a nice black. My Wilson Combat stock fits perfectly on this tube. The fit is tremendous, no rattle, no movement, and worth every penny.

The VSeven products are so well made There’s no sense in even comparing them to other products, VSeven is in such a league of their own other companies don’t even stack up, there’s no other gun manufacturers in the world that are even in the same ball park.

As mentioned by another, you have to be okay with slightly more rattle in your stock than with a standard buffer tube. If you are okay with this, it's good to go. Did not experience any receiver fitment issues as mentioned by that same user.
Cons:
- More stock rattle than normal

does not fit KAK shockwave pistol brace. I love this item but it doesn’t fit that brace. The stops for adjustability have slots in them and the shockwave just slides right through too bad too because I love this buffer tube. I ended up going for their aluminum one which is lighter than standard, but fits the shockwave.

Who would’ve thunk it? This thing is awesome. This is the definition of premium, or “Gucci”, I should say. Don’t think about it too much. Buy it, it’s totally worth it. Life is too short for cheap rifle builds.

I didn't buy this buffer tube for the fact that it weighs ~0.6 ounces less than a traditional mil-spec buffer tube; I bought it because it looks cool. With an SBA3 brace, I have 9 total adjustment positions when attached to this buffer tube, which allows for slightly more diverse positioning of the brace. The fitment and finish of my particular V Seven 2055 Carbine Buffer Tube is very good; it perfectly matches with the rest of my build and makes good contact with the SBA3 brace. Adjusting the brace, if I can put it in words, feels as smooth and quiet as cutting butter with a hot knife. It doesn't take too much or too little force to adjust the brace.
While I wouldn't put one of these buffer tubes on every AR-15 I own, I like it enough to keep it on the AR it's currently installed to.
Pros:
- Looks great
- Slightly Lighter (~-0.6 oz.) than Mil-Spec
- 9-Position Adjustmants with SBA3 Brace
- Smoothest and Most Quiet Brace Adjustment I've Used
Best Used for:
- lightweight builds
- High-end builds

This is the lightest Buffer Tube I have bought yet. But it is probably twice as strong as the rest, being made of a super Lithium Aluminum Alloy. I heard someone say it was dark blue in color. I see only perfectly black. It is not round in profile, but multi-faceted. It is the tightest buffer I have ever had. With the Battle First Minimilist stocks I run it is quite difficult to slide. As I only use this buffer/stock combo on a super short 300 BO SBR it is OK because it rarely needs to be retracted anyway. And I like the lack of any wobble.
Pros:
- super strong and lightweight

Like all of v7 parts, I love it. It’s about .75 oz lighter than the normal mil spec buffer tube I was using. I love the coating on it. It’s slick so when moving the stock up and down it glides smoother. I’m slowly swapping out most of my parts with v7 parts on my lightweight rifle.
Pros:
- Lightweight slick coating

Overall, this is a high quality, light but strong buffer tube. The drain holes and number of stops that it has only add to its feature set. But don't let the pictures deceive you. This buffer tube is not black. It is really more like a navy blue. When inspected by itself, it looks black. But when I put it under a light next my upper and lower receivers, it was more like a navy blue. It definitely was not the same color as the rest of my AR-15. If you don't care about the color being a close match, then you should get this buffer tube. It's a good tube and overall I recommend it. But personally, if I'm paying around $80 for a buffer tube, I think the color match should be much closer.
Pros:
- Light weight, strong, well built.
