If weight is the enemy...
If a lightweight AR-15 build is the objective and you need to retain a standard buffer like a VLTOR A5 setup, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. If you're using a captured spring setup, it isn't absolutely necessary at all, so you save more weight!

Nice detention pin with spring. Holds buffer really well. If you're trying to build a light weight AR this pin will fit into that every little bit helps category.

Best buffer tube +8 hold spots
Great buffer tube lite and Strong has 8 hold positions and even 3 drain holes for drainage of water and it has cuts on outside diameter of tube for weight great finish and has extension for the retaining pin to help keep it from moving side to side.well made and great upgrade for your AR-15. the cuts on the outside of the tube and the well machined inside of the tube make for smooth operation of buffer system
