I have installed these pins in my ultra light gun build and discovered the pivot pin comes with an installation hole already in it. This made installing very easy. The only tool you'll need is a small punch or anything that will fit into the hole to depress the detent and spring while you rotate the pin to capture them. I will purchase this set again for a future build.

Not a complete assembly
This V Seven ultra light td/pivot pin set is really well made. They are aluminum so it is really important to have a very good surface coating like on these V Seven pins. Because your receiver is aluminum there's a slight potential for galling between the two soft metal surfaces. A good surface coating and some lubrication will keep the opposing surfaces from creating any problems. Also take note that this pin set does not come with springs and detents because they are intended to replace and upgrade existing pins. Therefore make sure to order the additional parts if these are used for an original build. These pins are extremely light weight.
